“Good place for lunch, fantastic views”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2014

A ski resort at the top, with self-service. Nowadays, all places in the ski resorts are combined and have agreed prices.
And of course, you pay more then in a local business, however the aim is to have fun skiing- a short break and more fun skiing. For tasty, romantic meals I would not recommend the self-service restaurant.

“Great for snowboarders”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2013

Diedamskopf is always a fun resort to go to!
You fly into Friedrichshafen or Memmingen Munich West.
The fun park is great, and our friends had an awesome time!
We were all snowboarders (22-30y/o), and hired a van to see all the mountains in Vorarlberg, and we all voted Diedamskopf as our favourite.

The food on the hill is a bit expensive, but great schnitzels and soups etc!

There are also great tricky runs, for the intermediate boarder, and a fun run all the way to the bottom (only when there is snow).

“Very central place in Vorarlberg”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

This ski area is in the center of the Vorarlberg region, so especially when you want to drive to a different ski resort each day this is a good area to stay in. Very nice and old village, there are a lot of sleeping possibilities, apartments and hotels.
The mountain itself has some good steep runs but during bad weather you might be on top of the mountain in a white out since it's the highest point in the region. During good weather you get great views, skiing is limited though. Not too many lifts or runs. Perfect for a day but not for a whole week unless you want a ski resort that is small so it's easy to meet up with the family.

“Good for a day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2012

Black runs were good and steep. The off-piste was crusty, but had it been fresh there would have been a lot to keep us occupied. It didn't look like it gets tracked out too quickly.

Also enjoyed the long ski-route back to base, but there had been a lot of snow this winter - not sure how it would be if there had not been.

Definitely worth a day's visit, but I wouldn't fancy spending a week, as some people obviously were.

“Powder with a stunning view!”

We visited Diedamskopf January 2012 and were blessed with sunshine, great snow and a wonderful view to the Alps - skiing doesn´t get much better than this!
