Reasonably priced and lovely food so nothing bad from us to say. We had one meal here but also used it twice for evening drinks in the sun and found our hosts charming, informative but not overbearing. Sunset views were perfect.
Would recommend based upon our visit in early June.
I would imagine like a lot of places in all of Santorini it’s manic in July/August.

We had the most wonderful dinner at Cava Alta. The food was exceptional with the all the ingredients being really great quality. We also loved their selection of organic local wines. The waiters were all lovely and the service was excellent. Its also in the lovely town of Pyrgos away from the crowds in the northwest of the island. Overall it was a perfect evening and I would definitely go back.

Visited three times whilst at Pyrgos, we found it the best place to eat both for quality of food and service. The place itself is quite quirky but very comfortable, the food is first class and the staff are exceptional.

There is also a roof terrace which is great during the day or evenings in good weather, we preferred inside for the atmosphere.

If you are anywhere near Pyrgos, you have to give this place a try.

After 10 days in greece we went to this place to try Spanish flavors baed on other season reviews (homesick of our last trip there as well).

We ordered a camembert as start (nice!!), a pasta for the kids (very gourmet and they loved) and for my and my wife a seafood paella (awful!) it was may be the worst paella ever, no salt, no azafrán, no costra, i lived in spain and let me tell you i have tried hundred. in summary no flavor, the left almost everything (30€ to the rubbish!).

The place was empty at 2pm (now i know why!) and the service was very slow and finally when my wife gently gave to the waiter our feedback regarding the paella he just said ahhh ok (great attitude yo improve)

Hopefully, the chef of other seasons appear soon...

Is a restaurant that i visit at least 2-3 times on the island. Really i dont know where to start from the positives as there are no negatives at all. Service, food quality and quantity, atmosphere, decoration... Everything was great. We went there in Easter and we found table without reservation. We had Mastihato Chicken, Eggs with Chorizo and owners propose us also Pork Pansetta which was all exceptional. Prices are very normal. We left very happy. Thank you guys. Not miss this place at all costs.
