“Great Ambiance”

We visited Franco Cafe in Pyrgos on the recommendation of friends. The prices aren't overly cheap (or overly expensive either) and the menu is smaller than most in Greece which we actually liked. The view and music are so worth visiting this little cafe. We found the waiters to be great and even got a bit of a history lesson from Dimitri (think that's his name). Pyrgos is a quaint little town in Santorini, noted for it's churches. If you go there, you will not regret visiting Franco.

“Excellent”

A surreal experience with the setting sun and soft jazz while drinking cocktails. You need a bit of luck to find it first time!

“Happy Finding”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

Just happen to come across this quaint place totally by accident. we just walked and walked and came across this place at the perfect time (before sunset).

it was so relaxing, simple and pretty.

depending on the time of year, dress appropriately. went a few weeks ago and it was quite chilly but they gave the ladies blankets.

wine choices are fun! relax and take in the beautiful view, sunset and company of course!.

“sunset glory”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2013

we were staying in Pyrgos village so walked up to Franco's often but on this clear evening we thought it might be a great sunset so climbed the hill for cocktails. They do a mean spicy bloody mary and a delicious long island tea. We had two cocktails each ad a large plate of mixed meze cheeses olives etc all accompanied by gentle jazz. As the sun began to set it was obvious this was going to be a really good sunset and cameras were clicking away. After the sun had set many people left but a few stayed on and enjoyed the moon. Being so high there was a breeze and we were offered lovely snuggly fleece throws so we stayed for longer! A very memorable evening.
