Fantastic view of the caldera without the crowds! Turn up half an hour before sunset and order you 12 or 18 glass tater tray, they'll bring it to you with bread and cheese, and enjoy it whilst watching one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world. Even if you are not a keen wine drinker like me it is worth trying them as there is a huge variety including the local Vinsanto, a beautiful sweet red. Excellent value at around 15 euro, friendly helpful staff and a decent shop where you can buy a bottle of your favourite later. Definitely recommend this as a highlight of anyones trip.

We stopped here with part of a day tour we did and it was a great end to the day! The views were perfect and they had a few great seating areas if you wanted to enjoy a glass of wine or the wine flights (multiple sample sized glasses). We brought home some of the Vinsanto for my Mom.

Thank klokken

This is most certainly a must do if you are in Santorini. A beautiful view of the Caldera, along with a wine tasting and some bread made for an absolutely fantastic afternoon. Very friendly staff also who let us change the tasting to all white wines as we didn't like reds. Very easy to get to with the public bus system from Fira, just remember the stop for coming home is not the same place where you get dropped off! :)

If you want the best view on Santorini, be sure to take a trip to Santo Winery. We sat high above broth Fira and Oia with a perfect birdseye view of the Caldera and both towns. Absolutely breathtaking!
We missed the last wine tour which was at 3:30, but did plenty of sampling. They do have a menu, but we were not really there to eat. We did compliment our flight of wines with a beautiful and delicious array of cheeses, olives, tomatoes and crusty bread. It was perfect.
We made a day of it, making the winery our last stop. We hopped a boat from Kamari to Perissa; a short 25 minute ride, where we spent some time shopping along the waterfront. From there we took a bus to Pyrgos, an old town filled with winding paths, cathedrals, tucked away taverns and shops. We then walked down the hill to Santo, which was about one third of a mile.
We wound up taking a cab back to Kamari where we were staying rather than take the bus to Fira.
Be aware, this is not the easiest place to get to, but well worth the trip.

Visited Santos Winery on the way to Oia so it was wine and cheese for brunch. The wine was good but the views were fantastic.
