“Excellent cosy cottage”
Reviewed October 27, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Fabulous cosy accommodation in an ideal location close to Llandegla and yet only 25mins to Chester. Very comfortable indeed with quality bedding and genuine hospitality from owners Helen and Raymond who kindly left us organic milk, butter and tasty Barra brith. Had a few problems with wi-fi which we understand has only been a recent issue but Raymond apologetic regarding this. That said, it didn't detract from a wonderful break in this beautiful area.
Thank you to you both.
PS: We loved accommodating Percy the cat every evening!! :)

“Comfortable stay on a picturesque farm”
Reviewed September 5, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We spent a week in this cottage and loved staying here. The cottage is located on a quiet farm on a hill with fantastic views of the surrrounding countryside. There are great walks at your doorstep as it is away from busy roads. It is possible to drive down to various places of interest within about 30 minutes to an hour including Chester and Liverpool. Portmeirion and Mount Snowdon railway are also only an hour and a half away via a really scenic drive.

Local places of interest include Afonwen crafts village, Rhug farm shop and the Glasfryn is highly recommended for a meal.

The cottage is large, bright and well equipped- the photos don't do it justice! It is stocked with everything you need and more. The owners had left freshly baked Welsh cake as well to welcome us. We also enjoyed the company of Percy the cat who was a great hit!
All of us came back feeling refreshed and relaxed after a week of walking, rest and relaxation.
We could not have asked for a more comfortable and relaxing holiday.
All the 'excellent' reviews of Talwrn Glas are well deserved!

“Stunning”
Reviewed June 29, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

What a beautiful place! I have no idea were to start, the cottage was stunningly beautiful, inside and out. Modern, clean but also kept its old characteristics at the same time. The views were amazing, everything was way beyond we expected.
Everything you need is there, from milk to bbq coals, maps, playing cards etc etc.. this place really does go the extra mile! Be prepared to be blown away, so impressive!

Many thanks for having us we will certainly be back! 11/10!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Talwrn Glas, we hope to welcome you back in the future. Thank you for the snowmen biscuits you left, they were great - I am going to try and make some with the children before Christmas.
