Stayed at Morawel for 3 nights over half term with 2 teenagers and a dog. A last minute booking, nothing was too much trouble for Fran to sort for us. You cannot beat the location of this chalet for the view from the verandah, it's stunning! Did a lovely walk from Nefyn to the Ty Coch pub around the headland. It was lovely to come back to the comfort of the cabin and the log burner. The chalet even has a roll top bath! I would recommend getting supplies before you arrive as there is only a corner shop and a Spar in Nefyn (although it is very well stocked). But if you're looking to get away from it all but still stay in comfort you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere better!
Fran was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and efficient. We arrived, gratefully, during Storm Desmond. Access up the lane was better than billed. The chalet is clearly a family property and much loved, with great care taken to make it cosy and inviting. The building itself is light and airy. The kitchen was the best equipped of any holiday rental we have been to. The king sized bed was supremely comfortable. The garden was secluded and interesting for children to explore, with a deck overlooking the sea and countryside. the chalet is well situated for exploring stunning beaches and beautiful countryside, the only problem is dragging yourself from Morawel.

Had a really great stay in Nefyn at the Morawel Chalet. Its a little bit challenging to get to up a steep narrow lane, but once you've done it a couple of times, its fine. The Chalet has spectacular views over Nefyn and towards Morfa Nefyn. Excellent for walkers, with food outlets in the village and a couple of pubs etc not too far away. The chalet itself is very good and really well set out. The only minor thing for me was the bed in the main bedroom. Much too thin a mattress for me. Quite uncomfortable. But then again, we all like different beds don't we. All in all, it was a very pleasant, relaxing stay in a very good chalet.

We booked for a short break to explore the Llyn peninsular and had a great time. The weather was very kind and enabled us to visit all the local beaches. The chalet was very well appointed and even had Wifi which though not essential was a nice addition. We misunderstood the sleeping arrangements but Fran managed to get us an extra set of bedding in very quick time considering how remote the chalet is. There are lovely easy walks into Nefyn and also to the beach, and as everyone else has already said, the view is spectacular at sunset.

We stayed here for a weekend, myself, my wife, niece and our 2 dogs. Fantastic - the chalet is gorgeous, we arrived on a rainy Friday evening, but the wood burner soon made us feel at home! Everything you need is here, plenty indoor and outdoor space, no wifi, but we didn't miss it, even our 11 yr old niece who's normally glued to her laptop didn't complain. The views are stunning, particularly in the evening as the sunsets over the sea - sitting on the decked terrace, sipping wine, playing scrabble and enjoying the evening sun. Our 2 miniature schnauzers loved it, we really struggled to find somewhere to accommodate 2 dogs in the area, they loved the garden and the local beaches. We found a local pub which also welcomed dogs, only a 5 min drive - Y Bryncynan. We had a fabulous home cooked lunch here, lovely gardens, and good play area for the kids if you need it.
After a hard week at work, you do feel like you're away from it all, and can do as little or as much as you please. Thanks to Fran and her family for having a fabulous and welcoming place to stay. A big thanks too to Caryl who looks after the property and meeting our last minute request late on Friday for extra bed linen!!! Highly recommended and can't wait to return

As a family we've holidayed on the Llyn Peninsula for many years, but hadn't visited for a while. We couldn't have wished for a better return to this beautiful part of Wales. Morawel is a gorgeous chalet high up in the hills above Nefyn with the most glorious view of the coastline, including Nefyn Beach and Porth Dinllaen in the distance. The windows along the front of the chalet mean that the view is always visible from the living room and bedrooms. We've never been at this time of year before (April) and were treated to glorious sunshine and the most spectacular sunsets over the sea, an advantage to being at a higher altitude.
The chalet was very comfortable and homely, very clean and with a lovely garden and decking at the front for taking in those lovely sunsets or outdoor eating. We had everything we needed for a wonderful family getaway.
