We stayed here for 3 nights to attend a nearby function. Room was brilliant, way more comfier and nicer than Travel Lodges. In fact I would go as far to say the room wouldn't have looked out of place in a very nice Hotel.. The bathroom and deep bath along with body lotion dispensers and hand soap dispensers on the walls were fab. Hair dryer, vanity table and Kenco coffee on the tea tray all added to it for me. Very spacious room and a 36 inch flat screen TV on the wall with perfect picture and appealing pictures on the walls and dim 'side lights' made it very cosy. A big sofa to accomodate more guests made a good suitcase and other belongings storage unit. The bed and pillows were the comfiest we both have ever slept in. Added to this was the Restaurant next door. I think it was a Brewers Fayre. Again great stuff. Breakfast was fab with Cereals, pastries, muffins, crumpets, porridge, mixture of teas / coffee / fruit juices / fruit and yoghurt bar and also as much cooked inc Full Scottish / English as you can eat with all the above for £8.25. Loved it. We ate in the Restaurant on the Fri Eve, meals are mainly good old pub grub with a great deal of 2 main meals and 2 puddings for £12. Amazing value. We had the Sunday Carvery, 2 two courses and 2 drinks for about £22, again excellent value. We will most definitely be using this Premier Inn the next time we are in the area. We had room 23 and we will kindly ask for the same room again. Overall our 1st Premier Inn experience was fab. Last but not least the staff. Both in the Inn and the Restaurant could not have been any nicer. 10 / 10 all round.

We were booked for two nights but checked out after one night
They had run out of milk to have a drink we were told that they were expecting milk the following day which is of no use when you want a cuppa
we could not get wifi we thought at first it was our computer we went to reception but they were of no help
we learnt the following day other people had been having the same problem getting Wifi we also had problems with a window that would not close and had to go outside to push it to
as a frequent user of Premier Inns this is one place I would not use it needs a good manager to take charge and get it organised

For a budget hotel at a budget price, Premier Inns are very reliable and this one is particularly good since it has been recently refurbished and upgraded.

If you need to be near, but not in Edinburgh try a stay at this hotel. Just a whisper off the M9 motorway junction 5, warm welcoming staff rooms spotless all facilities of the highest standard. The adjacent restaurant proving a varied menu of excellent food at reasonable prices. For the early starters breakfast is available from 6.30am and dinner until 9.30. Downside?Just a tad difficult during early morning traffic to exit right for access to motorway but nothing a little patience cannot solve!.

My wife and I stayed here for one evening last weekend while attending a nearby Wedding.
Hotel looks pretty new.
Check In staff were friendly and helpful.
Rooms were good and of the standard you would expect from a PI.
Bed comfortable and our room had a flat screen plasma - nice!

Only slight complaint was that the water pressure was terrible (room 41) but all in all, a pretty decent hotel and I would stay here again in the future.

Overall the motel is a good place to stay, Staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you, it’s a good place to stay near The Garden Centre, 10 Minute walk away from the train station, next door to a Pub, and the rooms are a good size. The things that I think let this Particular Premier inn down was the fact that the Floor boards all over the hotel are very thin and squeaky from getting out of bed to walking down the corridor to your room, Young Children running down the corridor are very annoying, The shower is on the wall on the side of the taps in the bath which means when you have a shower you are facing away from the drain, No Window in the Bathroom, The Double Bed is actually 2 Single beds pushed together and clipped on to eachother and makes the bed look big as It has 2 mattresses’, 1 Row of lights in our room did not work also House Keeping I feel do not do a good enough job by only changing the towels and replacing the tea and coffee that’s all they did each day they did not Change Tuck in the Bed etc , a Dirty Duster was found in my room which I left there and the next day it was gone , and a large amount of dust on my window sill , desk and around the TV. But Overall the service was Great and I would stay again if these were dealt with!
