“overpriced and poor portions”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

Used to love this place but recent visits have been a huge let down. Kids menu is way over priced...starter over 3.00 e.g garlic bread, main course 5.25 and dessert 3.25.... over 11.00 for a kids 3 course meal.... my child ordered the pizza and chips and she got what looked like 2 off cuts of pizza.... I ordered a main of chicken caeser salad at 8.50... it came in a starter size bowl and I think I got 4 tiny bite size pieces of chicken...plenty of croutons... oh and 2 pieces of sun dried tomato. As a main I would expect a full fillet. I actually thought they had mistakenly given me a starter..... just as well I ordered chips with it. Dont think I will back....

I was recommended to stay here as it was close to the international airport.
All I can say is, warm welcome, high quality room, quality food and staff who smile.
Can't find any fault and would gladly stay again.

This is a fantastic spot for a bite of lunch or Dinner . The food is fantastic and the service compliments it well . I have been here on several occasions for family gatherings and also for linches and I have never encountered anything negative about the establishment . The staff are always very helpful and the menus are first class . The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and there is a lovely ambiance about the place . Its the only decent place to eat for miles and every time I go I think it gets better .

me and my partner stayed in the hotel on a sunday night for dinner and breakfast the next day. Room was nice , clean and new. Staff could not be any more helpful , my partner had a broken leg and when we arrived we were moved to a ground floor room without having to ask and also got our breakfast delieved to our room free of charge. very relaxing and enjoyable stay , would def stay again.

The hotel advertised a large soaking tub, but the reality was a tiny box shower. Room was clean but noisy by the road. Two towels only. Had to hand pump the toilet to get it to flush properly.
Probably would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a contemporary room away from the road

We had stayed here at the end of July in a traditional room and hadn't enjoyed our stay at all because of road and extractor fan noise but we decided to give it another go in their new rooms as we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere here and what a difference!
Although we could see the planes arriving we couldn't hear a thing. We stayed in the beginning of September and the air con was excellent.
Everything about the room was perfect from the shower to the comfortable room.
I was glad we had given it another chance but I would only stay again in the new rooms and would recommend them without hesitation.

Room Tip: For a quiet night chose the new rooms are worth he extra.
