We decided to try out the newly re-furbished restaurant for their set Sunday lunch, taking my disabled Mum along. We were not disappointed and the 6 of us had a lovely round table so we could all speak to each other. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff were very friendly and provided everything we asked for straight away. The help yourself buffet is amazing with fish, meat and a variety of salads. Then the soup of the day followed by the roast of our choice brought to the table. Plenty of choice available for vegetarians too. Then we helped ourselves to cheese and/or a choice of desserts. Coffee and mints to follow. We spent a leisurely lunch/afternoon there and never felt rushed. A definite must on a cold and wintery Sunday.
