Pauline and Phil welcomed us into their home again, they made us feel so relaxed and nothing is too much trouble.
Tranquility is a hidden gem and we would recommend you go, Pauline and Phil are wondeful hosts, the views from the bedrooms are breathtaking, comfy beds, spotlessly clean, tailor made breakfasts.
Go and try it for yourself.

I had the please to stay 2 nights at Pauline's and Phil's B&B on beginning of March, together with my sister. What a warm welcome! Phil showed us our lovely room with a breath taking view over Loch Ewe. We slepped like babies in a comfortable bed. And the breakfast! Homemade bread. Just to smell it early in the morning... and the jams, everything homemade! I am sure to be back again at the Tranquility B&B in a warmer season. If you want to feel like being at home abroad you must stay at Pauline's and Phil's B&B!

We were on a week tour of the Scottish Highlands and I was originally looking for B&Bs out of the normal hustle and bustle of the bigger cities. Phil and Pauline's B&B was the perfect solution for my search. We loved the drive to Mellon Charles from Ullapool. It really was breathtaking.

Once we arrived Paul showed us to our room, there were three of us, and gave us a brief run-down of the place. He allowed us to customize our breakfast with and without whatever we wanted. The views from our room were honestly some of the best on our whole trip.

We ended up leaving just before sunset to go find the perfect place for some excellent pictures. Again, the sunset was the best our whole trip!

The breakfast in the morning was wonderful, we had to depart early for more site seeing. I honestly wish I could have spent more time here at this B&B, in Mellon Charles. It is a small piece of heaven I wish to return to soon.

In a 5 week trip around the UK, this was one of the very nicest Bed and Breakfasts we stayed at, and in one of the loveliest spots, too. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic view and amazing sunsets. Pauline and Phil are warm, friendly hosts. The food was delicious - simple and homemade, including homemade bread and jams. It was nice to be able to have dinner here, too; there were quite a lot of options to choose from and we enjoyed a tasty meal. In every way, Tranquility was a great place to stay and great value. Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend it.

We were greeted as though we had been friends for years. Phil showed us our room and assisted with us getting settled. The evening meal was very good as was the breakfast. We have corresponded with Pauline and Phil since we returned home and received an anniversary card from them this week. We hope to visit them and their pet sea gull Sidney some time in the future.
