Stayed in the whitehouse in a suite for 1 night with my girlfriend. Brought as a package offer and was never disappointed. All staff very friendly and attentive. Room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was stunning. Food was excellent on the evening, which is not always the case with other package deals. Only criticism was the item my girlfriend ordered wasn't available, she then ordered an alternative but was told roughly an hour later that this was not available. The issue was resolved by being offered something not on the menu which was actually better than anything on the menu. Well done. Reasonable distance to windsor centre and all the sites. Would deffinatley recommend and stay again.

Thank you for your review, I am delighted to see that you had an enjoyable stay with us, however I apologise for the shortfall in our availability of the main course, and the timescales in determining this, although I am pleased to see that this was resolved by the team to a satisfactory level. I do hope that we have an opportunity to welcome you back to Beaumont again in the future.

Thank you once again
Kind regards

Got a Travelzoo special package for one night - good room, dinner for 2 with a bottle of house wine, and full breakfast for £99 inc. for the two of us. A few surprises greeted our arrival such as how big the hotel is, and how nice the room was. Had not read up too much about it so did not realise its size, and primary business with the conference set during the week, but the size of the hotel swallowed any conflicts. Good points:- nice location and spacious country setting; well decorated and mostly clean; modern nice rooms; happy to help, well turned out staff; fair sized gym and inside pool. Mediocre points:- dinner food and breakfast buffet heavily biased to the conference crowd so passable but not fine dining. Disappointments :- Room consumables such as the tea and coffee tray having just Earl Grey type tea bags, ordinary Nescafé coffee ( not Gold Blend), no bikkies; no magazines or similar reading matter; no complimentary bottles of water ( or a minibar). However, in all would stay again if a similar deal was on.
This was a Jesuit boarding school until hotelified only a few years ago. It still has many historical features including some bedrooms designated as school bedrooms. Very nice Chapel that is a wonderful setting for private functions. Lots of other big rooms for such functions.

Room Tip: We were upgraded to a premium double in the White House which is part of the historical building. N...

This is not a 5 star hotel, we had appauling service and food. We have had better service, rooms and food at a Holiday Inn. Do not be fooled by the pictures you see, yes, it is impressive when you first enter the lobby area, but after that everything goes down hill. Fawlty Towers, but worse.

Room Tip: Our bedroom window was broken, so all we could hear was the aeroplanes from Heathrow.

We stayed in this hotel as a birthday present, it was sold as a stay in an upgraded room with a 2 course meal, free bottle of wine and full English breakfast.

The receptionist was very good , very helpful , he had only been on reception a couple of weeks but was very friendly, great representation of the hotel.

We were given our key, got a bit lost getting to the room as it is quite a walk from reception as a big hotel.

When we got to the room we were disappointed, there were 2 single beds, room was tiny, there was a crack in the tile in the bathroom and the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly (not 4star standard). The room was very hot so had to put the fan on over night, and the window latch was near enough hanging off. We reported this to reception who sent house keeping up to put a sheet over the 2 beds to make it a double.

We went to the restaurant for our dinner, nice choice of meals, and a free bottle of wine, also bread and oils which was a nice touch, main course was pretty bland but ok.

Ended up going to a lovely local pub after our meal , as the bar prices are quite expensive, which was recommended by the same receptionist who checked us in, he booked our taxi for us as well. We came back to the bar and had a few cocktails which were lovely and good value , but my other half went to the public toilet and there were big brown stains on the tiles and it stunk :-/

For breakfast, it was very busy, standard full English, good choices, nothing special.

All in all, the restaurant and reception staff were excellent, a real asset to the hotel, but for the deal we got, it was sold as £99 down from £220, was definitely not worth £220, and the room was not upgraded, I know we didn't pay the full price but if you are going to advertise something then you should get what is advertised.

Also, I think the website is miss leading as it sells the hotel as a luxury manor house, but where we stayed it was more like a forgotten , untreated, cabin,

Would not recommend or visit again.

We stayed here over my friend's wedding in February and although generally pleased with the cleanliness and set up of the room my father wished for a slightly larger room due to his current health condition.

It was Jodie that was very kind in helping us to reallocate us without question and develivering an upbeat and exceptionally friendly service.

We had a great time at the wedding but certainly the friendliness of the staff made this even more of a relaxing trip and mini break away.

A beautiful setting and at a reasonable price I would recommend Beaumont Estate for any short breaks.

Booked a nights stay and an evening meal and that is where I went wrong.
The hotel and grounds are beautiful but it offers so very little by way of service.
We waited well over an hour for a cold meal and suffered the next day for it.
Service was probably the worst I have ever had and with the exception of reception, the staff really didn't seem to care about our experience.
Should have walked away when we were served a cappuccino that had no coffee in it !!!!!!
Would I go again or recommend this hotel to anyone, if you want a place to sleep that looks great and you don't care about staff that don't have a clue about service standards. I would say yes, having been in the service industry for most of my life, I was amazed that the hotel could be rated at 4stars, with such shocking standards.
Having been charged £17 for two glasses of wine I would have expected a thank you, maybe I expect too much ??

Thank you for your review, we invest heavily in training our staff to understand the guest journey, however, clearly on this occasion we did not exceed your expectations for which I must apologise. We have recently appointed a new Training Manager who will be focusing on service standards and therefore should you decide to return to Beaumont Estate in the future I am confident it will be a much improved experience. Thank you once again for your valuable comments.
