Description: The Feathers Public House and Kitchen is a big point of difference in a small community. The history of this building is a journey in itself, having been many loved homes and businesses throughout the five hundred years or so she's been standing. It is now a thriving old-world pub which prides itself on its atmosphere, fine wines and beers. Dining with us is a superb experience with food freshly prepared by our in-house chefs accompanied by full and friendly table service throughout.

Go to the feather fairly regularly and never had a poor meal – the food is great pub grub and the service is great – the staff genuinely care that you enjoy the food and really do look after you.

Very popular pub/restaurant, We were there on Saturday night and as usual very busy. The god thing about this place is that there is a nice traditional bar that you can stand at unlike a lot of gastro pubs where you really have to just get served and move away. There are lots of tables as well plus an outside area ( covered and heated in winter )

Basically I like the place because of the buzz but like most people I would mention the price of drinks is higher than most.

Staff always friendly and efficient and plenty of them so service pretty quick unlike a few other pubs I know.

Sister pub to Bodega in Watford. If you've ever been to Bodega then expect more of the same from here. A pleasant pub with decent food and friendly staff. It has a cosy feel about it.
As with Bodega, the drinks are probably more expensive than any of the other local pubs, so not a place to go out to at the end of the month.

Great food & beer/ wines.
It is a little pricey seeing there are other restaurants very near.
The owner has 2 more pubs in Croxley Green, right on the green.
The Artichoke & The Coach & Horses.
A little different set up in each but nice location, especially in the summer

Had a charcuterie platter £8.50, got 3 slices of salami, thinner than cigarette paper, 2 slices of chorizo and 3 bits of ham, together with about 5 or 6 slices of bread, then I had cheese, only one, with bread @£6.00. Very pricey and service a bit amateur-ish.
