My girlfriend and I ate here on Saturday night and were very impressed. The food was fresh, plentiful and expertly cooked whilst the service and atmosphere were similar to top restaurants in London. Family run, warm and unassuming, this is somewhere we'll certainly be visiting on a regular basis.

My husband took me here for the first time for our anniversary , he had obviously phoned ahead to book as it was packed, and they had ready a half bottle of champagne for us... So cute , the menu is fantastic with a great specials board, We had crab then mixed grill and snapper! Was to die for my only critisism was that I had no space for dessert! The staff we elegant and well polished
And the wines were suggested by the head waiter who got it spot on! Thanks can't wait for the next excuse to go!

Unexpected location in a parade of shops and takeaways on the Uxbridge Road. Like finding a pearl on a pebble beach. Family run, warm and welcoming without the usual overwhelming suffocation of many Italian restaurants. Understated, relaxed and great food. Had grilled sardines - good size and 3 on the plate, friend has lobster/prawn cocktail. Both good flavour, fresh and portions were just right. Main course was linguine with calamari, prawns and mussels in a tomato sauce. Again the portion was just right and the linguine cooked perfectly. The seafood was generous and the prawns were big with the tomato sauce delicate rather than over the top. Accompanied by a glass of house white which was delightful, tasty and not acidic yet with a touch of Pinot Grigio.

Value was very good, even before we used the Taste Card which brought the whole meal in under £20 a head.

Recommend for couples, family and friends wanting a good Italian. Not a stylish restaurant but a very good one if food, friendliness and efficient service that is good value is your criteria.

Many Thanks for your comments, and apologies for the late trip adviser reply as we are more knowledgeable on cooking than computers, but this will be progress for us!!

Family run Italian restaurant with a strong leaning towards seafood.
The location is unprepossessing: a slightly seedy row of shops and cheap eating outlets each side of the Uxbridge Road; but don't let that put you off. All the three different starters chosen, smoked salmon, crab and prawn dishes, were very good. We all decided on the halibut for the main course; possibly cooked a minute or so too long, and could have been that touch moister. Variety of vegetable sides all good.
There are an excellent sounding selection of sweets - was sorely tempted by four or five. Given the food prices are quite steep the wine list is tolerably priced.
Internal ambience is ok, if a little dark and tired; service was very willing and friendly. All in all, a very pleasant restaurant serving excellent food.
