Myself and my mum stayed here over night to enjoy the spa facilities. Overall we had an excellent stay and really enjoyed ourselves- we will most certainly return.

We arrived to be greeted by a porter who took our suitcase straight to our room. We were greeted at reception with a huge smile and swiftly checked in. Our room was not quite ready as we were early so we sat in the bar for about 5 minutes. A member of staff checked we were ok and was not pushy at all about trying to serve us drinks.

The room (1035) was fantastic, very modern with excellent facilities (sound system in the bathroom with both bath a shower with rain head, fresh milk in the fridge and lovely comfy beds).

We made use of the Aqua Thermal Journey during the afternoon- again staff and facilities were top quality. The journey was fairly busy but we were still able to relax. We then went to have treatments (full body massage and a Neom treatment) both were great and we were again greeted warmly. Izablla is fantastic!!

We had dinner in the restaurant and here is really the only place where we could find any faults.
An item was off the menu however we were not told until we tried to order it. Then we heard another 2 tables try to order it as well- good practice would be to tell customers as you seat them surely?
Wine is kept behind the bar so you have to wait for the bottle you have bought to be brought back and your glass filled up - you have no idea how much wine you have left, this meant that we ended up leaving lots in our glasses at the end of the meal.

Daniel in the bar is a credit to the hotel - he made a cocktail for us that was not on the menu and was very polite.
The food itself was gorgeous, very tasty.

Had a good nights sleep and breakfast was delicious with a cooked choice as well as a continental buffet. The staff work very hard.

Did the aqua thermal journey again and had our final treatments (spa manicures).

One further comment is that usually in hotels you find a glass to put your toothbrush in and you are usually offered a morning paper- neither of which were offered here.

Don't be put off by the Butlins camp outside - this hotel is great. Go, if only for the spa, put on the comfy robe and relax- they even have hair straighteners so you can do your hair afterwards!

The Hotel has a very nice feel about it, and the spa fragrances waft through the main reception area enticingly. As I was only using the hotel for a business trip stopover I did not make use of the spa, although it is obviously very popular with guests in luxury bathrobes wherever you look. The room was immaculately clean and very modern in decor, the en-suite was of very high quality with Elemis toiletries provided and even a shower cap. Breakfast was also of a very high standard, with a cold Continental type buffet and a more traditional hot Breakfast option, both of which were excellent with a good selection of choices.

Room Tip: Stayed in Room 1008 on the Ground Floor which was next to a fire exit the staff used to go for their...

We cannot say a negative word about this spa - you are greeted with the words 'Adult only escapism' - which it certainly was. Absolutely excellent customer service, we enthused over our afternoon tea & high class evening meal - spa was just perfect and felt very relaxed. Our room was really spacious and quite impressive. Loved having Eggs Benedict served in our room - what an indulgence & was an added bonus using the spa until 11 day of checkout. I have booked my return visit already and cannot wait.

Just returned from overnight spa package with evening meal. My husband always says that it's the staff that make a hotel, and Ribby Hall Spa Hotel is a prime example of this. All the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Spa was lovely, rooms immaculate, beds so comfy and showers fab. It was the little touches that made the difference like fresh milk in the fridge for tea. Restaurant a dream- decor and table settings perfect but food totally delicious. Never had such a lovely meal and so relaxing. Overall best trip ever. Agree with other reviewers over initial disappointment with setting and exterior of hotel looking not as expected. Once inside however, no

This really is an odd place. Seemingly in the middle of a holiday camp and a long way from anywhere (unless you are visiting BAE Systems in Warton as I was) you could be forgiven for thinking this wasn't an excellent hotel - which in many ways it is. Rooms are extremely good - and upgrades appear to be fairly random - which means you can be lucky enough to b eon one of the loft rooms which are great. Restaurant is very good - although the menu is a little but limited and suffers the fate of many hotels in trying to be a little pretentious and over-engineering the food when something simple but of high quality would be more apprporiate.

Just go. You will find out why.food is amazing. We don't go for the spa - that is an added bonus. 4th visit. Love it here. Elemis products in the room. Take your credit card, drink champagne and relax. We love it here.
