We arrived late as there were road closures. We only found this out 30 mins prior to arriving as the owner let us know by a badly communicated text message.
All items were supplied for you. The paintball masks were of very very poor quality. Once you put it on you misted up very quickly. During breaks of the game the "marshals" would not let you take them off to clean them. During the game I understand not taking them off for safety. But when no one is firing a 2 min time out should be in place to clean them up. We paid a lot of money for paintballs and I want to get the most out of the games by being able to see what's going on. And not having the "marshals" shouting at you.
The service of the "marshals" was terrible. There must have been 25 children present playing. And I heard on several occasions by the "marshals" swearing. Calling people names. Absolutely disgusted.
The food was terrible. Slopped curry of chilli. No where decent to sit. Old rickety wooden benches. Had to eat standing up. Drinks for sale included coke and fanta. No tea or coffee!!!!
There was also no discipline at all. People were told not to fire paintballs when they were in the designated dead zone. But children were doing so and the "marshals" were laughing and not doing anything to stop this. On site there was 1 porta loo. Which didn't even look like it was cleaned.
The experience was ok as there was a group of us. But the value was shocking. The service was absolutely disgusting and the surroundings was very dangerous if you could not see where you were going if your mask had misted up.
There are so many other brilliant paintball companies in the UK. This one should be shut down.
