Stayed two nights at the Ibis Thurrock, Situated just by the Queen Elizabeth Bridge, it was easy to find. I checked in at 9pm and went to ask at 10 if they where still serving food, to be told no. It says on the receipt you get with your room key that food can be ordered 24/7, obviously not on the day I arrived! Bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable and the shower was brilliant! Breakfast the next day, (for which I had paid £8,95 or thereabouts), I went down at 8.30, there was no bacon, sausage etc left, though a waiter did bring out more slowly. When I asked where the eggs were, I got told they didnt have any. The next night, I decided to venture to the bar area, for a meal, of which I had chicken. I waited over half an hour for it, and when I bit into it, it was still cold in the middle and not cooked, so it got left. The next morning they did have eggs! and bacon etc, though It was not very warm.. The staff were not overly friendly apart from Norbert who was on the bar the second night. Would I stay there again.... I doubt it very much,

In the middle of a business park overlooking the M25 does not seem the ideal location for a decent hotel or a good night's sleep. But this is a decent hotel and you should get a good night's sleep. 2 minutes off the M25 it is a very convenient stop over but probably not the place for a romantic weekend! Staff are friendly, rooms are a good size, comfortable and well double glazed. Only draw back was the difficulty in finding parking and the television being on VERY loud in the reception/bar area upon arrival. But these are small points. I would be happy to stay here again and probably will.
I’m delighted you enjoyed your stay. Please rest assured that I will take note of your comments and the matters will be addressed. I hope we can welcome you back to then Ibis in Thurrock[ very soon.

Stayed at this hotel a few times over the past three months. It is situated on a retail park close to Lakeside and close to the M25 Dartford Crossing. However, there is good double glazing and traffic noise is negligable. Rooms are basic but clean with tea & coffee making facilities. Beds are large and comfortable and the en-suite shower and washing room is good with plenty of hot water. There is a bar/dining area where you can unwind over a drink in the evening and cooked meals are available. Breakfast is pricey at between 8 & 9 pounds. We usually book in advance with no cancellation refund and breakfast is free. This consists of a good selection of cereals, cold meats, fruit and cooked items (bacon, sausage, scrambled egg , tomato and beans) together with tea, coffee or juice. Staff have always been friendly and courteous
I’m very grateful that you could take time to leave us your thoughts and write a review. I’m so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, and we hope to see you again in the very near future.
I stayed here for 3 nights on 5th February. My vehicle was broken into, vandalized and items were stolen out of it, directly under a CCTV camera installed by the hotel.
When I asked the manager about the CCTV, he wasn't in the slightest bit interested, he told me that this had happened to other people, and looked at me totally 'gone out' when I suggested he might warn guests.
When the police called about the CCTV, he claimed to not know what they were talking about, even though I showed him what camera it under when it was broken into.
So my advice is don't stay here with a car, it may well get broken into and the manager is not in the slightest bit concerned or inclined to help.
