Always cycled past by never went in to it. Heard lots of good things. Liked their page on Facebook and mentioned my partner had booked us in there on their wall. Very quiet when we got there. Service with a smile and great food. Will definitely be back

Went for a meal here with some friends and have to say it was the best meal I'd ever had and I have eaten at plenty of places.
A very tasty pate starter followed by a fantastic steak, cooked to perfection (and locally sourced), mouth wateringly tender with a fresh hand made sauce. The comments on here seem to refer to the slow service, which I tackled the landlord on and he said that they had taken note and had made steps to rectify but the food is all cooked fresh and to order, this, as he said, does take a little time. Having said that, our service was right on time, the delivery of food was spot on and service excellent. We are going back again very soon and I urge you to try it for yourself.

If only the service was as good as the food.
We have had lunch and dinner here several times now and the food has always been excellent but the service is very slow.

They accommodate a walk-in of 16 people with only 2 ppl working that day. It was a bit slow, but all made to order and fresh and delicious!

I heard a lot of good things about the food at this restaurant, so my friends suprised me here for my birthday. It was a great evening but I think maybe without the food and the company I had this would be another average pub! The food was good but not quite amazing, the service was no where near as good as some average pubs I have been in over my time. The overall value for money is good though for good grub if you don't mind long waits
