I can add little to what most other visitors have said. Almost everybody seems to have liked it. Conveniently situated for the Channel ports, and exploring the Kent coastal towns or a visit to Canterbury, you are near Dover without being actually in it. We stayed for two nights after the ferry crossing from Calais to Dover, and liked it so much we stayed again on the way back.
The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. There is a choice of hard or soft pillows, and the bed is, as they promise, supremely comfortable. The hotel has ample parking space, but it is shut at night so as to allow access to the restaurant.
The staff are young, enthusiastic and cheerful. The dinner menu is varied and excellent value, but because of this there are bookings from outside and sometimes a number of walk-ins, so it is best to book your table early. The basic breakfast buffet is delicious and comprehensive, and if for the small extra charge you add the hot items such as sausages, eggs, bacon etc. - you can probably skip lunch….More
