We had been a few times when it first re-opened after the extension was built which had been OK though not brilliant... but last night I had the best rare fillet steak I've ever been served... ever! Soft and beautifully cooked with crisp, nicely presented vegetables... and, for a treat, very reasonably priced at £16.95 - with a choice of sauces- the Diane sauce I chose was a just a touch sharp but a good contrast- lovely! The pasta looked, and tasted, good too!

Starters were simply presented and delicious- the avocado was ripe and beautifully cut which complemented the tiny shrimps well. No room for puddings!

Only thing we both commented on was the decoration which is modern and clean but with the hard, white ceramic tiled floor it's a bit sparse so noise reverberates around- the white tiled floor makes moving chairs around painfully noisy, like chalk on a blackboard!... plastic buttons fixed the chair feet would stop the vibration and everyone could relax getting up!.

House wine was OK but will go for a softer Merlot next time.
Cafe Latte was a good strength and a lovely end to an excellent meal.

No sign of any footballers' wives, but the restaurant was constantly busy and the place was full with bookings and people just walking in which is good sign!

Thank you, we'll definitely be back more often.... keep doing the fillet steaks just like that at affordable prices and you're onto a sure-fire winner.

Frequented by wannabe 'footbalerls wives' who live in an expensive estate near the restaurant and who do not look in the mirror before they leave home, Rialtos is an entertaining night out.

The food which is made from quality fresh produce and cooked by a good chef is always good and the specials offer a welcome change from the printed menu which does not change very often. The wines are good value for money and the house wines very drinkable.

This is not the venue for a peaceful night out. It can get very loud and noisy especially when there is a private party upstairs which is a frequent occurence and when this happens the staff struggle to cope, so dont be in a hurry or expect everything to run smoothly.

Rialtos offers great value for money and an entertaining, if sometimes frenetic night out.

Booking is advisable because it gets very busy.

I have eaten at the Rialto on a number of occasions both before and after its magnificent refurbishment. Sometimes the food has been first class and pleasantly served but on other occasions it has been very poor. On such occasions, if your meal is undercooked or burnt to a frazzle, do not complain as the member of staff to whom you make your complaint will, invariably, attempt to make you feel that these shortcomings were all your fault.
Do go and, hopefully, enjoy a good meal but be prepared to walk out.

We went to Rialtos for my partners birthday. I had the best tasting seafood pasta I've ever tasted and the whole meal was perfect and obviously very fresh. We all felt the same and there wasn't a scrap left! Great value too as there was a happy hour and they even sang happy birthday and gave us a free pudding. Just perfect :) we don't often take the time to review but on this occasion they really deserve to be commended.
