“Favourite place to eat!”

the lamb is by far the favourite place for my partner and myself to go for an incredible dinner!
from the second you step in the service from the staff is excellent they are attentive and friendly whilst being very professional.
It is obvious that the chef must love his job as the attention to detail in the presentation, imagination and flavour combinations of the food is exquisite!
Overall the lamb is one of the few places i have eaten at that i simply cannot pick fault with, the quality of the service, the food, and the price are all better than you could expect.

Went to the Lamb last night, and it was a great evening, great atmosphere and the food was fantastic !! Very very tasty, my husband had the burger and I think he fell in love, great quality food! Liam was a great host and very attentive and knowledgeable about all the food that was served. Would highly recommend here and we will definitely be going back!!

“Fabulous food for our overnight stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014

We had booked the Lamb for a weekend away with 4 friends without reading any reviews so on arriving mid afternoon & asking to book a table for 6 in the restaurant for dinner we were, on one hand, a little disappointed to be told it was full but we could eat at a tall table in the bar, & on the other pleased as the food must be good. We know now for the future! In the event we were seated in the restaurant & I can only say that the food & wine was first class - the slow cooked Jacobs ladder etc. was gorgeous & plentiful, as were all the other courses.

I don't live locally - although not a long distance away & would journey down here again without hesitation, great place.

“A Little Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014

My wife and I were spending a few days away along the south coast and happened to be passing through Angmering near Littlehampton. In this small pretty village we happened across The Lamb (pub restaurant hotel) and decided to stop off for a snack. But the menu was just too tempting so we finished up having a full meal. In summary it is a little gem of a find. The food was delightfully presented by efficient attentive staff and was absolutely delicious (especially the fish). The surrondings were what you would describe as traditionally old with wooden fitments and fittings but with a crisp modern feel to it. A perfect balance. The prices were also very reasonable representing excellent value for money. We will be back.

“a definite yes from a couple of local mums!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2014

a girlfriend and i enjoyed a lovely evening at the lamb recently, such a warm and welcoming little gem in angmering village, the staff were friendly and attentive without being overly so, the food was delicious; i chose the roast sea bass on a bed of risotto - yummy!! and my girlfriend chose the steak with seasonable veg, and all so reasonably priced too, the kitchen closes late which really was a bonus for two busy mums as it gave us both plenty of time to get the kids off to bed before meeting up for what was a very enjoyable evening indeed!!
