A friend recommended this pub which is in the very picturesque village of Burpham. It is off the beaten track but we were pleased that we had booked a table as it was still quite busy (Tuesday lunchtime). The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We wanted only a snack so we both chose just starters - prawn cocktail and breadcrumbed hallumi with tzasiki - both absolutely delicious. We had a portion of chips as I had heard that they were good but I have never had such scrumptious ones. I will certainly return.
