We had an evening meal in here on a recent visit and the food was very good.
The place itself was very clean and tidy
A little bit expensive, indeed very expensive for the area but worth it for the meal we had
Certainly worth a visit

We've been here twice just for drinks but on this occasion we'd left it too late to travel to Anglesey so popped into Denbigh instead. It was around 2:30pm on Father's Day and there were only 2 tables being used. Waited at the bar for a minute or so before a member of staff came along. We hadn't booked in advance but that wasn't a problem. She organised drinks for me, gave me menus and took me straight through. Once we'd ordered our food it turned up very quickly (pate / breaded mushrooms and beef dinner / roast chicken dinner). Starters were delicious and just enough. Mains were plentiful although the veg was a little overcooked. And the staff member got the balance right between checking our satisfaction with the food and keep discreet distance. Good value at £10.95 each for 2 courses.

Lovely place but shame about the food. I went there with family on Mothers day and the food wasn't as good as we expected which is such a shame because it's a lovely place otherwise.

We went at lunchtime on the may bank holiday monday and it was quiet. Only one other table occupied. We waited ages for someone to come out to serve us, we got so bored we nearly turned round and walked out! Eventually, we were seen to and given menus. We waited ages for our food to be served, then another age before we got the requested condiments of vinegar and mustard etc- we were halfway through our meal by the time they arrived as our food was getting cold and we decided to eat anyway! The staff were dressed far too casually to be serving food eg bobbly baggy cardi, jeans and red pumps- didn't create a good impression. We weren't asked how we were enjoying our meal or if we needed anything else- consequently, we didn't leave a tip and we are always generous tippers. The food itself was pleasant enough, nice crispy chips, ham and 2 eggs. No complaints there, apart from wondering if the chips were frozen or hand cut- think they frozen, but not sure! A bit overpriced and there are places that give better value for money in the town. Don't feel like going again and think the management should look seriously at staff training for front of house staff
