I liked everything here, yes of course you get the odd ball old guard golfers, who have a look of snobbery etched on their faces, and holders so serious you fall asleep waiting to have your turn, but all in all go it's good.

Great location and easy access from the nearby A55.
Six of us enjoyed a mouthwatering 3 course Sunday lunch and none of us were disappointed.
The surroundings are beautiful and the restaurant on the first floor is set out immaculately.
A quick drink in the adjacent and well stocked bar then into the restaurant itself for wonderfully presented and freshly cooked lunch.
I can highly recommend the slow cooked lamb fillet which comes as a generous portion along with roast spuds and individual plate of 4 vegetables. My colleagues had between them the pork, beef and chicken dishes on offer and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the fayre offered.
It's also worth paying extra for the starters and desserts whic, again, were generous and beautifully presented.
The cost for 3 courses??? An unbelievable £11.95! This is ias good as it gets for this price believe me!
I could not understand, however, why the restaurant was not full to brimming...it certainly deserves more custom, and we shall be back, I'm sure!

Very good facilities, friendly staff, reasonable price for a championship course, with an excellent layout that is gently undulating, will go again.
