I stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the "Buckley Arms" (they must have changed their name from Buckley Pines back to the original name).
We received a warm welcome at the pub and were shown to our cozy and spacious room. The furniture is fully in touch with the architecture of the building, ie.a bit oldfashioned (but by no means old!) and traditionally British. The beds were equipped with very (or too - my back didn't like it) soft mattrasses, The view from our room was wonderful.
We had a good and filling breakfast for additional £5. We also had dinner in the pub twice and the food was fine and good value.
The only downside is the location. It is very quiet (except for sheeps bleeting) because there is nothing around. But as long as you' ve got your own wheels it probably doesn't matter all that much. Would I come back? The answer is YES!More
