My husband and i are just back from an overnight stay and we had a lovely time. It is a very homely Hotel, and the staff are very friendly and obliging. They had a couple of hiccups regarding gas, which was sorted in a couple of hours, they waivered the 15 pounds supplement for the nights stay due to the inconvenience.
Rooms are clean and bright.breakfast was great.
We had some interesting company in the bar at night, and ended up having a wee sing song...guy used to be in the band Slik!..they were all great and we had a good time.We would definately return in the future. We went a good local walk for couple of hours before going home.,scenery brill and we were lucky with weather .

We've driven past the Bridge of Orchy hotel so many times and wondered what it would be like so it was great to finally stay there last weekend. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were originally given room 10, which was lovely but we quickly became aware of a loud intermittent buzzing. When I queried this with reception, they said it was the hotel's boiler which can be heard quite loudly in that particular room. They changed our room, and whilst we could still faintly hear the on and off buzzing it didn't disturb us. Again we were in a lovely room. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and it was great food. Breakfast the following morning was also good but we had to ask for glasses for the juice, and then for orange juice as the supply had run out. Overall it's a great hotel and I would definitely stay again. But I would definitely specify NOT room 10 because of the boiler noise. I do hope the hotel manage to sort something out about the boiler because otherwise it's a fantastic place.

I stayed in the hotel this past weekend with three girlfriends for a walking weekend, and must say we had a fabulous time! The hotel staff are all amazing, and bend over backwards to help.........and particular thanks to the lovely Maurice Cassidy, who was an absolute star!

We took advantage of the hotel's special winter rates, which equated to tremendous value for money. The breakfast, dinner and packed lunches were of a very high standard too.

We will certainly be back next year for more!

Keep up the great work guys, and we'll look forward to our next visit.

My wife and I have just returned from a great 5 night stay at this hotel. It is a lovely place to stay. Very cosy with good rooms and a comfortable resident’s lounge and bar, both with wood burning stoves. The restaurant serves great food, but most important of all are the very friendly staff, which made the difference, whether it is guiding you on local walks or nearby places to visit. They made us feel at home. The weather was magnificent during our stay (five days of pure sunshine), which meant that we didn’t need to venture far from the local area. The surrounding landscape is truly beautiful, whether you choose to climb Beinn Dorain or stroll along the riverside.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have a great view of Beinn Dorain.

We visited this hotel on a Groupon voucher and were told we'd have a "standard plus" bedroom but when we arrived we had a small room at the back of the hotel. It was a lovely, clean room though and we were happy. Unfortunately I was really ill while we were staying here but the staff were absolutely great; there was a lovely guy on the bar who told my boyfriend we could have our dinner in our room which we did. I ordered the steak pie and my boyfriend had the venison; they arrived very quickly (brought by the lovely bar man who nothing was too much trouble for) and they were great! The walls in the hotel are quite thin and we could hear a lot of what was going on elsewhere as well as some noise from the restaurant downstairs but this stopped by about 10pm. Overall, the stay could have been awful because of how Ill I was but the level of service from the staff was above and beyond what I would usually expect.

Room Tip: Room 9 is dinky but well thought out.

From the welcome at reception to the final farewell we had an excellent stay at the Bridge of orchy Hotel. The room had a great of of Beinn Dorain. The dinner was plentiful AND tasty with a good choice for vegetarians too. Good beers and a wide whisky selection rounded the evening off perfectly. Even forgetting to ask for our packed lunch the evening before, we had it ready by the time we set off after breakfast.

The seven mile walk from Tyndrum had passed under blue skies across ice plates and good paths. Lunch at the Bridge of Orch had been our goal and it did not disappoint.
We'd stay here without hesitation; the walk from Bridge of Orchy to Kingshpuse in Glen Coe is its own reward, but for another day.
