We had 2 nights here. First impression was good. After a very long drive from Plymouth we were greeted well by reception staff and not kept hanging around in reception for too long. Our room was well presented, clean and modern. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and very bright (many lights), small faults like some chipped paintwork on the door and a hairline crack on the outside of the sink. The heating was not adjustable (either on or off) but being there in one of the coldest winters we have had that was fine. Our evening meal was very good. Drinks were a little pricey. Breakfast was wonderfull, buffet style, full english plus fruit, cold meat, cereal, croissants, juices, tea, coffee etc. Very good friendly service.

We live in Perthshire and whenever we have an early holiday flight out from Gasgow we will only use this hotel we have been at this hotel twice as a stopover for flying out from Glasgow and both times we have found Staff excellant cant do enough for you, meals are nice twice we have had the continental breakfast which works out a lot scheaper than having something at the usual very expensive airports, I do agree the decor especially on the other floors could do with a major overhaul but the bedrooms are comfortable with nice views and clean. We are hoping to book again this year as we yet again have another early flight out from Glasgow. I'd never go back to the Normandy the Sheets for starters are well starched and you spend a sleepless night scratching due to this also its not very sound proof since this horrible experience then finding the Erskine there is no comparising

We were part of a coach tour and we stayed in a recently refurbished room. This was comfortable, clean and overlooking the Clyde. The breakfast was excellent, with a huge choice on display. The food in general was very good quality and the staff were polite and friendly. My only problem is that when refurbishing the hotel they forgot some of the windows and heating. Ours had a huge gap where it closed which meant it was exceptionally cold and the heating was very poor and we could not alter it. We asked for an electric heater which they happily brought to our room. As for the bar area, lounge and reception there was nowhere where we could sit that was warm enough and at one point asked about the heating. In the end it was easier to go up to our room early than sit in cold communal areas. The weather was poor with snow etc, but even so a hotel should be able to keep it's guests warm regardless of the weather conditions. Sitting in the bar on Christmas Eve with a thick fleece on top of 'party wear' is not ideal. But apart from that on the whole our stay was good but they need to take on board the comments regarding windows, heating and keeping the place warm. We also expected a 'Ceilidh' which was advertised, instead we had a piper and 2 girls that danced. It lasted about 10 minutes - hardly a Ceilidh!

This hotel has been standing on the banks of the river Clyde for a long time and to look at the outside it looks old, but that is where old comes to an end. Inside is as modern as any newer hotel in the area, Check in is easy with helpful staff, lobby has free wi-fi, bar is well stocked and very well priced, resturant serves good tasting food, day and night. Leasure Centre is a good place to relax after a day out sightseeing. Car parking is FREE in an oversized parking lot, which is not a muddy field.
Rooms are well appointed with modern furnishings, with tea and coffee making facilities, rooms are cleaned daily.
All in all, This is a very good Hotel to stay in. Would stay here again.

Perfect hotel for Glasgow international airport, easy to find. Rooms are lovely, although outside of the hotel is run-down when you get in you'll be surprised!
The park and fly option is perfect!
You also get to use the gym and spa for free when you stay

We stayed here on our way back from stornoway on our way back to ireland for one night. We had a small baby with us and needed to use a micowave for the bottles the reception staff were originally quite horrified when i asked them and he said they couldnt do it as the kitchen staff wouldnt let them ??????? I explained that i needed them or quite literaly my baby would starve!!!! After a lot of waiting a female receptionist sorted it for me and she couldnt have been nicer (he was very nice then also) think he just had never encountered this question before. Not enough staff on in the bar and it wasnt that busy but still had to wait ages...Breakfast was really nice and plentiful so no compalints there. Just lacking big time on facilities. Its situated on river nice views and good parking.

We got a cheap deal on this hotel near Glasgow Airport with a week's car parking. The car park was a muddy field with nolights and no security. If it rained while you were away you would need a tractor to get your car back.
Reception area is clean and modern, staf were helpful, but we were nearly deafened by the TV in the bar next door.
Our room was terrible. The heating only had one setting - sauna - so despite the noise and the smoke from the restaurant staff having a fag outside we had to keep a window open. The carpet was worn down to the floorboards in places. Presumably this is one of the rooms that are still waiting to be refurbished.
The fitness room is very small and didn't seem to be used much. The pool is 10 metres at its longest with the jacuzzi taking a big chunk out of it. There was no water in the sauna - second time somebody has reported this. Shower / changing area was past its best. You have to go through the bar to get to the fitness suite and pool - this is unfair temptation!
There's a limited menu of bar meals. The full restaurant menu is much more varied and is on the web site but is not displayed in the rooms. Food quality was good, what we expected when we booked but better than we feared when we saw our room. Restaurant waitresses were very helpful. Don't drink too much with your meal, the wc is a long, long walk from the restaurant.
The hotel has a courtesy bus to Glasgow Airport about 10 munites away but it only runs once an hour. We played safe and went on the earlier bus, just as well because they were about half an hour late.
Location is handy for the airport and for bus tours wanting to stop outside Glasgow city on their way to or from Loch Lomond and the north. If they ever finish that refurbishment they'll have a really good hotel but for now, well, a hotel is first and foremost a place to sleep and I wouldn't recommend that bedroom to anybody.
