The night before we arrived at Camus House we had stayed at Culag Lochside Guest House on Loch Lomond and the location was fabulous and picturesque and I didn't think it could be topped. I have to say that as we pulled up at Camus house I was slightly disapointed that the main road ran between the house and the loch as I was expecting it to be 'on the loch'. The property from the outside also disapointed me.
Well how wrong can ones first impression be. We walked in to an amazing welcome from Alistair and Louise and they helped us to our rooms. Our family room had one double and 2 single beds it was a very large room with a bath and over bath shower. You could see the loch out of the side window.
The double room was enormous and the view was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and cleanliness was outstanding.
Breakfast was very well cooked and everything was there that you wanted and I got the impression that If you wanted anything else that they would have accomodated.
