A well equiped cottage in a stunning location, perfectly suited for our party of 4 adults and 3 children. The road was the only drawback but not too bothersome as the windows had to be kept shut because the midges were so voracious. They obviously liked our soft southern flesh ! The only criticism I have is that it could do with an in- depth clean. The fridge left a bit to be desired as did the cutlery and cups etc.. . Also it would be most helpful to have a list of things i.e. dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. that are supplied or not, and an extra teatowel wouldn't go amiss ! Would we return ? Most definitely, we had a wonderful holiday.

Thanks so much for this good review. Sorry we can't do anything about the midges; wish we could! Thank you also for your constructive suggestions which we will follow up. Haste ye back.

We stayed in the Oronsay cottage, which has 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, one en-suite and also a WC off of the kitchen. This was useful for us as we were a party of 8. The cottage is very well equipped, all the kitchen facilties and utensils you will need, we were hard-pressed to find something which was not in one of the cupboards/drawers! They even supply toilet paper, soap, washing up liquid, etc which was a nice touch.

Two twin and 2 double rooms, we had 5 cars with us and there was room for them all - should really try and car-share more... The living space - dining and lounge area has more than enough seats for everyone. Rooms are spacious, and although the beds could have been more comfortable we all managed a good nights sleep each night, must've been all the fresh air.

We didn't notice the noise from the road, apart from a lone siren on the first night. The little play area next to the cottage was anice touch and we were allowed to use the garage for our bikes. The Onich Hotel down the hill serves lovely meals and has good entertainment, food is all made fresh so there is sometimes a bit of a wait, but well worth it.

Richard the owner and Rhona the site manager are both very helpful. Yes the house can smell a bit damp at times, but this is the highlands of Scotland people, not Spain! All adds to the charm. We had to clean a bit on arrival, but could be due to the compulsive cleaning disorder some of our party have rather than the place not being up to standard... Great holiday away, we are even thinking about coming back next year. The view from the balcony is awesome - if only you could have than at home - weather was brilliant so this helped too!

Room Tip: Get in first and bag the double rooom off the living room, it has the en-suite!

This is a magical place to stay - the most incredible views and breathtaking scenery. The site is delightful with fantastic walks right from the front door. The cottage is well maintained and there was plenty of room for our party of 7. It is well equipped and everything works and there is plenty of hot water. Everything was clean and well aired. A welcome pack would have been appreciated after a very long journey as would a note book detailing where the nearest shop, supermarket, post office etc and good local places to eat. It IS close to the A82, but the location more than compensates for the occasional truck noise in the night if the window is open. Certainly highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time using Lissmore cottage as a base for a week spent exploring. Returning to a comfortable and welcoming cottage in the evenings after our long days touring the Loch's and Glen's. Rising in the morning's to have breakfast by the window with its wonder full view of the Loch and mountains beyond, watching the bird's having there breakfast on the feeders opposite the window. Parking was convenient the accommodation warm and cosy and equipped with all the necessaries for a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. If all go's well we are hoping to go again in the autumn this year. I highly recommend a stay here.

We had a long weekend in the Kerrera cottage in mid March. The idea was to stay here and have fun in the snow at Glencoe - unfortunately the mountain was closed due to high winds during our stay. We did Segway locally and had a trip to the Isle of Mull among other things to occupy our time.

The cottage is simple but very comfortable and the place has very recently been re-decorated. The cottages are just up off the road and quite private and the windows look out over Loch Linnhe - which is a spectacular view. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Thanks so much for your nice review. Sorry about the skiing. Lots of snow but too much wind this year. Hope to see you again.
