Travel down the side of Loch Linnhe on business many times a year and the views/Sunsets/Everchanging aspects of the Loch as the wind catches it are stunning.
But,the road itself although slowly been upgraded is dangerous,as it is narrow and tourists clearly slowly to take in these beautiful views----the local/regular drivers are not exactly patient and try overtaking at inappropriate places and with so many blind bends,it can be dangerous.
Do enjoy it's beauty, but take care, and keep Kids/animals under control.

A gorgeous place full of scenic tranquillity, ideal for couples looking for a quiet romantic weekend of relaxation. The drive through nearby Glencoe is breathtaking and a short trip to Ben Nevis 'Nevis Range' for a trip up the mountain by cable car is well worthwhile.

Such a beautiful loch, even when the weather is dull, It runs north from Oban towards Fort William. The road runs along the edge of the lake much of the way

The views from the Holly Tree Hotel at Kentallen over Loch Linnhe are superb. Stunning location. A beautiful drive further south too, through Appin, Connel and to Oban. A beautiful area of Scotland not to be missed.

What's to dislike about a loch? You get an awesome view of the loch of Linnhe from Keil Hill. I don't know how big it is but you couldn't walk around it. I thought the nearby Nature Reserve could have had one of their picture boards up with some information about the Loch.
