“Magnificent Loch”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

There is a council car-park on the left at the round- about coming into Fort William from the south end and it cost 1 pound 50 pence to park all day till 23.59. You can sit and eat lunch in your car/campervan etc whilst watching the boats moving up and down the loch or get the binoculars out and look for the deer on the opposite banks of the loch, it is a very narrow loch.Their is a cruise on the loch as well, BUT, rug up as the wind is biting.

“Speed bonny boat”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

A trip on a cruiser down the lake looking at the Salmon Fishery and muscles (fishy kind) with assorted wildlife and spectacular scenery. Unfortunately I missed the porpoises and seals who steadfastly decided to stay at home, on a sunnier day they might have shown up. A hot chocolate in the nice warm bar below deck went down a treat. Anyway another worthwhile excursion.

“Lovely Loch Linnhe”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

We were staying in Loch Linnhe Waterfront Lodges and were privileged to be able to view this wonderful loch in all it's many moods, from early morning promise to sunset splendour! Being a sea loch, and therefore tidal, meant that the tide brought differing birds and mammals---the best treat being a family of otters, very early one morning!Great excitement! But even more thrilling was to watch a thunder storm, from the comfort of our lodge, and then to marvel at the splendid rainbow afterwards. Such beauty and excitement and all for free!!

“Picturesque loch and countryside”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

This is a very lengthy sea loch and my experience of it is only driving the section between Fort William and Ballachulish Bridge however what a section! Very scenic and if you get the chance to stop and admire it for a while do so - I’ve put Onich, a small village near the Bridge, on my list of places to stay next time I’m in the area. Would probably make a good base for skiing at Glencoe Mountain and Nevis Range or just a place to relax in the summer.

“Outstanding Beautiful”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Loch Linnhe is one of the most beautiful parts of the UK that I have ever been to. The loch is a sea lock so comes in and out with the tide, this gives you something new to look at through out the day. It has lovely little fishing boats and from our lodge had a fabulous view of the mountains.
