Stayed here last week and we booked both the rooms so really had the place to ourselves. WiFi in the lounge helped.
Breakfast was outstanding and couldn't fault the place.
Jeannie was an excellent host who made sure our one night stay was perfect.
Will definitely go back.

Room Tip: A perfect place to stay on the way up to Orkney.

All I can do is echo all the other reviews stayed here for 2 nights, and it was excellent thankyou Jeannie. Would stay/recommend any time. Would just like to add, that there is a form in the room for any comments/complaints..if any one fills this in , then they have a problem. ....because you wouldn't have any thing you would need changing or complain about..

Booked blind off the web and talked to Jeannie by 'phone who is excellent. I had a warm welcome on arrival (not before 17.00hrs) and was given clear and thoughtful advice on the locality and where to eat that evening. A super clean, well appointed and nicely decorated room which was quiet and very comfortable. There is a generous sitting room with a log burning stove and lots to read. Parking is on the street which is very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, again Jeannie was good company...bright, funny and very able. Sadly, this was only a 1 night stay as I was making for Orkney, but I will return as it was a very nice surprise to be so very well looked after. Top notch.

We spent two nights at Number 11 and were delighted with the extremely comfortable accommodation. Every room was tastefully decorated, including the lounge and the breakfast room. Jeannie, our hostess, was kindness itself and provided good local knowledge re. walks, restaurants, and so on. Breakfast offered plenty of options and was served in generous quantities. To round it all off Dylan the dog entertained us with his antics! We would have no hesitation in recommending this great value and excellent quality B&B.

Room Tip: We recommend Room 1 on the ground floor with its beautiful en suite bathroom.

We stayed here for one night last week and loved the experience ( wished it had been longer ). Jeannie, the proprietor, has thought of everything in this warm, welcoming and immaculately clean establishment.Breakfasts reflected the quality everywhere else at "Number 11". We will be back.

Room Tip: Easy to find; travelling north through the village continue until you reach the school and take the...

I enjoyed a one night stay here in September during a longer trip further north. The property is located in a row of cottages in a quiet street leading off the main A9 road and not difficult to find. The cottage is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The upstairs room where I stayed was well equipped and very comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would recommend No 11 to others without hesitation.

We stayed here for a few days (just back today). It is set off the main road up a very quiet lane. We had the upstairs room with a separate bathroom across the hall + a cupboard (which can be locked) for your luggage + clothes.

Breakfast. Menu was left in your room daily to complete + leave downstairs in the lounge. Huge amount of choice + big portions. If you want one sausage, just write that on the menu when ordering. Ate so much at breakfast, didnt need to eat until later in the afternoon.

If you are over 6 foot like my husband, you might need to bend to shower but it didnt cause him any problems + ask for the upstairs room, as the downstairs one, has a bed board which woudnt suit a tall person.

About a 5 minute walk to the centre of Brora.

If you have a car, remember to park outside the B+B as parking is not allowed outside other houses (the lady owns the land outside her house). Also you pay by cash as they do not accept cards.

Other than that, well recommended for a stay here.
