Don't go there especially if you stay in the Bunk House.
The cycling team and I came to this place following a stop at the very moving Commando Monument near Spean Bridge and we concluded that you needed the bravery of a commando to stay here!
My first impression was of walking into the hotel reception to be met with a festoon of cobwebs hanging from the stair banisters and skirting boards which were caked with dust.
The bunkhouse in which five of us slept was cramped and hot although the bedding was clean.
The communal shower/toilet facility left a lot to be desired. The tiles in the shower were loose or broken and wet toilet paper had been thrown at the toilet walls by previous guests and not removed.
However,on the plus side ,the bar/restaurant was very good. The food was plentiful ,if a little unimaginative ,but the staff were very helpful and flexible in meting the cyclists dietary requirements.
I should add that we were charged only £12.50 each for the night and the cost of the food was reasonable but I wished I'd paid more for something better.More
