This is a well done conversion of an old Mill and is loverly but the nature of the building forces some compromise. For our party the steps to the bedrooms and restraunt area and were steep and narrow not easy as assured by phone. On the other hand parking is close and good in a town where this is usualy a problem. Also a reasonable walk to the centre.
There was a problem with sorting allocated rooms because the system seems to use surnames only and our group had a range of specific requirements. The computer sayyyys!
The rooms are typical mid class hotel spec and well serviced. However set at very high temperature giving us problems sleeping.
Breakfast (included was good and freshly cooked, above average.
Very nice small fitness centre with pool.
Provided you can cope with the stairs its the best Ransbottom has to offer.More
