In my opinion this is the best lunch in Ramsbottom. I love the warm baguette sandwiches they serve with a fresh salad (and sometimes Chips!!). I visited recently with a business colleague and you get a warm welcome from Anita and Stuart. The pub has its own car park which is unusual for the area, which makes it a great place to drop into on the way back to the office.There are no tatty menus here, just a giant blackboard showing the best of what is in season. Even though it was a busy Friday Lunchtime, we were got our food promptly and served to us by "The Chef", who made sure we had everything we needed. I have had lunch a few times now and it is consistently good food.

Great home cooked food in an average pub, nice service and ale.
Had the home made cheese and onion pie...can't fault it and the landlord was really attentive and chatty..seems a good local just out of Rammy centre.

The food here is definitely the best I have had in a long time, fantastic service and real home cooked food at very reasonable prices! The chef and all the staff are very welcoming, definitely visit the major, you don't know what your missing!!! Better than all the rest!!!!

Really nice pub, traditional with two sides, one more for the lads watching football, but in a quiet and pleasant way and for families with children for pool and the other side with nice tables for chatting and eating.
the food is really really good. Anita is a really good cook and her chef. The cheese and Onion Pie is THE BEST. It really is the best I've eaten. Try it!!

Absolutely lovely pub food and huge portions for a very reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone after a pub tea!
