We stayed here just for the one night on a special deal which included dinner, bed and breakfast and a bottle of wine in the room. We had upgraded to a king suite which was lovely and spacious. We chose to eat in the bistro where the food was good and the service attentive. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Plenty of choice at breakfast. We didn't use the spa facilities but they seemed very popular. A very relaxing stay.

Stayed for 2 nights including dinner and free upgrade to a suite. Lovely spacious room, great food and excellent service. Stayed Sunday and Monday nights - we were attended to immediately at reception and had no problem booking a table in the restaurant at a time that suited us. Would return and recommend to anyone for a short break close to Wales and Chester.

We booked a one-night dinner bed and breakfast stay at Carden Park, in an executive room, for £98 per night.

On arrival my heart sank - reception was heaving and there appeared to be children everywhere; I dreaded the forthcoming evening, however, we were very pleasantly surprised.

After a bit of a tussle over the allocated room we stayed in room 143, an executive golf-view room, which had two double beds and was very comfortably appointed. The bathroom and bedroom were clean, although both bedspreads were stained and the back of the bathroom door was dirty, as was the area around the spyhole on the bedroom door (why do the majority of housekeeping staff miss the back of the bathroom door?)

The rate we paid included an allowance of £30 towards dinner, which was well-cooked, well-presented and was very tasty. Alcohol is quite expensive - lowest price for a bottle of wine was £25.

Breakfast was first-class with plenty of choice of cold and hot buffet and a chef on hand to prepare omlettes. All food was of excellent quality.

As previously mentioned the hotel was extremely busy, however, staff are well-trained and must be well used to catering for large numbers as everything flowed like clockwork.

There is a golf course and spa which we didn't use.

Although we prefer a quieter hotel than Carden Park we would be happy to return and would recommend it.

Just returned from a Sunday Spa experiance and it was wonderful. The location is lovely as is the setting. On arrival at the hotel check in was quick with chilled water and glasses a nice touch. As a group of 6 we had asked for rooms nearby and this was accomodated. Our rooms were on the first floor (not a great view of the courtyard) the room was spacious and very clean with everything needed including a mini fridge. Our twin standard room had two doubles fantastic. The decoration was modern and bright as was the bathroom again quite large. The shower pressure was also very good.
We booked this hotel for the spa experience and it included dinner upto £30 in Redmonds which was also fantastic and we managed to have 3 courses for the price. Breakfast had everything you could want and the deal also included a light lunch on Monday. The whole spa experience and treatments we had were great. for £99 this was a wonderful deal (I know I keep saying it but it was lovely).

Just returned after a luxurious one night stay. Suite was huge and elegant, with bonus of double jacuzzi! Enjoyed a sumptious 3 course meal, which was included in the deal, and an equally satisfying breakfast. Spa facilities were superb too, and the staff were very attentive. All in all a top notch hotel which we definately reccommend.
