A really enjoyable stay, thoroughly enjoyed the meal in the restaurant and very impressed with friendly and attentive staff. I didn't spend much time in the room but was pleasantly surprised by the modern décor and comfortable beds. Very reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard, and easily accessible from the M5, I can highly recommend the Aztec Hotel to anyone staying in the Bristol area.

Very friendly and attentive staff, first class food and a really great Spa and pool. Large comfortable bed, fluffy robes, good working area and free WiFi.

Breakfast is really good - the freshly cooked kippers with poached eggs (extra, but no cost) were just perfect. The location is good too - Bristol is an amazing place to visit, especially Clifton which is like an exclusive 'village' plus of course, the amazing Isambard Kingdom Brunel suspension bridge.

Two, tiny niggles - the TV is an old fashioned analogue unit with no ability to change the picture perspective so the words at the bottom of the screen cannot be seen. There are no reading lights in the room and the dismal light from the (PC) energy saving bulbs makes reading very difficult.

However, these really are minor niggles - definitely a hotel to visit - highly recommended.

Room Tip: Try to avoid a ground floor room if overlooking the car park - it can be noisy at weekends.

Our 2 day management event was initially organised by our team in Bristol and then passed to our central team in Coventry to handle. Despite sending full detailed rooming lists and discussing our other requirements, a number of mistakes were still made, noteably giving a room to the wrong participant, resulting in 45 minutes of discussion to get the right person into the room. On the first day of our event, we were sent to lunch in the conference suite, which was too far from our meeting room and did not allow our guests to sit together at lunch and continue networking - one of the main aims of our event. The tea and coffee area outside of our room was not managed very well initially. After some complaints, they improved on the second day. They failed to invoice us as requested and instead charged the credit card of our initial contact. Not a good experience, which was a shame because the hotel and the rooms were very nice. Not sure I would use again, unless I was guaranteed a better experience.

We statyed at the Aztec for two nights with some friends. The rooms were lovely, a really comfy bed with excellent pillows. The food was excellent and the service we received was second to none. All of the staff were very pleasant and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everyone always had a smile when you approached them.
we cannot wait to go back again. Excellent Hotel with Excellent Service.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

The bedrooms are dimly lit and very 1990s. The bedroom walls are paper thin. I was awoken at 11pm by a member of staff noisily collecting room service trays. I was then awoken at 2am by the man in the next room visiting the bathroom. Great location next to the M5 but the Premier Inn at Cribbs Causeway is far superior in every way.

It is such a shame to hear such negative comments. I will speak to the Night manager regarding the room service trays being collecting at such a late time of night. I do hope you give us the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel so we can look after you at our usual standard.

Kind regards
