“WE ARE LUCKY IN WYE........”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

.......to have a number of excellent eating choices, ranging from a 'high end cuisine' restaurant,Curry and Chinese 'eat-in' and 'take-aways', and several gastro-pubs. The restaurant in New Flying Horse has been and remains one of the most reliable in this strong showing of culinary choices in the village.

We have been using this restaurant for 40 years, during which time there have been short temporary blips in the enjoyment of the eating experIenced, but overall it has maintained a very good standard as we can confirm after had a family lunch here recently.

The staff were most welcoming and efficient, the food of really good quality, attractively presented, very tasteful, and good value for money.

Well done New Fly, and whilst alas I probably will not be visiting for another 40 years, please keep it going for a good few years yet!

“My favourite in the area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2013

Can't speak for the quality of the accommodation, but I know this pub extremely well as being excellent for its beer and food. I am a fan of Shepherd Neame Ale, brewed in Faversham, and this pub keeps it in very good condition. A good lunch time menu and a very large and well kept garden. Easy parking too. I have plenty of country pubs within 20 minutes of my home, but I regularly choose this if I need to take visitors for lunch. Situated in the lovely village of Wye, well worth a visit. Recently had a most excellent fish and chips sitting in the peaceful, sunny garden with a pint of "Master Brew", what could be better ?

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 23, 2013

Amazing food, fantastic service, friendly service and beautiful gardens. Food is reasonably priced and excellent quality, Both lunch time and evening menus.

Also perfectly positioned in a lovely village, near some fabulous walks across the downs!

What more could you ask for?

“SIMPLY LUSH!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

After going to another pub in the area and was told told food would be an hour we found this little gem around the corner, the sun was shining, the staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to help, we even got welcomed as we walked in! We went as a family for lunch, the food was served promptly at reasonable prices, brought out to our table and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be visiting again hopefully as an over nighter as they have rooms too!!!
