I took my 2 children age 9 & 11.. i got a voucher off groupon. Good value for money even without voucher...small but simple cafe..we took picnic thou..but had ice creams and tea and cakes later...very reasonabley priced. Everyone really friendly and a proper family day out. They involve everyone in all events...both kids got to hold birds and later they got out some owls for you to handle and stroke. Flying displays were great...various birds out and they kept a black tailed kite out just flying round all day...it was just flying about all day...a lovely sight. They got all kids up a few times to get involved and my son got to fly a harris hawk...he was delighted. I cant rate this place enough...its a family buisness...so really laid back and friendly making sure your enjoying your self and getting to see all. Kids really loved all aspects of the day espec getting to see a golden eagle.. they liked all staff...George the geordy was really funny. Also they have a lovely friendly dog and even let kids play with him when all flying displays done...much to their delight. Will definately return..thankyou for a fab fun filled day out..

We went on a Groupon offer and had a cracking time. This is a real hands on place and all the staff are first class. Can't fault anything, nice cafe there as well with homemade scones. We will return. The flying display was first class and anyone can get involved. Well done to the people that run this place, deserves the reviews.

The best value for money in a long time! Will visit again in the future & try one of several different 'experiences' available. Spent a totally relaxing & enjoyable 5 hours viewing & photographing over 50 species of owls, hawks & eagles. Amazed by the passion & knowledge of the volunteer handlers, together with their obvious love for & understanding of the birds. Informative & educational too. The flying displays are hugely enjoyable, with audience participation & injected with humour. Customers are actively encouraged to handle the birds under supervision & there are great photo opportunities. A small, clean café selling a modest range of products at very competitive prices. A great day out for young & old alike.

Just reading the bad reviews and they obviously haven't been to the same place as I have. There are beautiful birds handled by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. Handling sessions, flight displays and lots of information close to hand. All in all, a great day out.
