“Great location for visiting NEC”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

Stayed for 1 night as a group on business. Nice hotel, quick friendly check in, relaxed atmosphere. Decent size room, clean tidy and welcoming. Nice hotel and well placed for visiting the NEC. Good links to major roads and motorways.

Stayed for two nights whilst up for a concert at the N E C.. When we first arrived we saw that there were two weddings going on that day(Saturday) so had a word with receptionist to make sure our room was well away from noise, music etc. She was very understanding and kind and moved us to room 136. We never heard a thing! The hotel itself is very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. First time at a Best Western but it won't be our last.Could not fault.

We booked through Best Western 1 night stay whilst visiting a show at the NEC. Whilst booking I mentioned my husband had mobility problems on our arrival the hotel had 3 weddings that weekend and was exceptional busy. We were allocated a 1st floor room the hotel has a lift but only to part of the hotel which did not include the room allocated he finds steps difficult. After some time the receptionist found us another room in another part of the building which still had steps to negotiate, ( thankfully my Husband isn't wheelchair dependent.)
The room was very comfortable but he was unable to have shower as it was an over the bath one. I appreciated the drinks tray.
We booked a meal in the Regency restaurant which had been moved to the Arden Suite due to the weddings, ( another 3 steps to the entrance.) The meal had Table D'Hote and A La Carte menus the inclusive Table D'Hote did not have a price on it. We chose A La Carte which was reasonable but £9.90 for 2 Largers and 1 diet coke seems excessive.

Room Tip: Check if the rooms are accessed by the lift as a number of them aren't

We had our wedding in June 2013 at the hotel and we couldn't have asked for a better service. Not only was the package reasonable in price the wedding coordinator Louise was a star and nothing was too much to ask. The hotel was really flexible to allow us to make our day perfect to us. The food was top class and the venue beautiful. From someone who is very particular and fussy I was a little worried to leave the staff to dress our reception room but they did a brilliant job it was beautiful and all our guests agreed what an amazing venue for a wedding. Jay was really helpful when we went to sample our menu and gave some good advice and tips. Laurent allowed our day to run smoothly and without a hitch (even though there was an incident behind the scenes we didnt find out until after it ran so smoothly!) The rooms were great and good value and our guests who stayed agreed. We just want to thank all the staff at the hotel for giving us a perfect and memorable wedding day - the Manor Hotel will always be special to us.

Room Tip: We were married in the Regency restaurant which I highly recommend as it is beautiful and has a love...

Stayed here for a night before my holidays and the night i got back, cant fault hotel at all. Was very convenient for Birmingham airport the hotel charged me £35 to leave my car there and that included my two taxi rides there and back so very wothwhile .Our rooms were very clean as were our bathrooms, comfortable beds and a decent breakfast in the morning. All in all a very pleasant hotel stay, would stay here again and advise anyone considering to , that they would not be disappointed.

Stayed here on business and I have to say to this hotel ticks all the boxes.
Easy to find and set just off the main road, with a decent car park and large overspill to rear.
Friendly check in with free newspapers available on the desk.
Can't fault the room, quite spacious and very clean with a large and very comfortable bed. Good shower and towels, excellent large flat screen TV with Freeview channels and FREE WI-FI!!!!
Ate in the bar and the food and drink were of excellent quality as was the friendly service from the bar staff. Sky sports was also a bonus on the TV.
After a very refreshing nights sleep, I enjoyed a hearty breakfast from the excellent selection available.
A really great hotel that I look forward to staying in again.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for an overnight stopover, weekend break or on business.

Stayed for one night as easy to get to NEC. Better than I expected. Quick , friendly, check in, good room and I thought food and drink good value for a hotel.
Great breakfast, good quality and nice coffee. What more could you want? I will stay here again.
