My wife and I recently stayed for 2 nights and overall we both were disappointed by our experience. When we arrived we were blown away by its grandness especially from the outside and there is ample parking to the rear. The receptionist was helpful and we were quickly checked in. Our room was on the first floor and it was a long walk down 3 or 4 long corridors - probably a 6 or 7 minute walk. The room was clean and very roomy; the bed was far too soft for my liking and I found it very uncomfortable. The shower did however make up for the lack of sleep. The buffet breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and options.
We spent the whole day away from the hotel and arrived back at around 11pm and slightly worse for wear. We had been informed that there were 2 weddings in the hotel on that particular Saturday and the disco from one was horrendously loud and had to complain on 3 occasions.
I must admit that they did look after us when we checked out and did discount our stay.More
