“Wedding Venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2013

The Manor Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We had about 50 people booked in as guests and they all said the rooms were excellent. All the rooms had big screen televisions coffee and tea making facilities and all the other facilities you expect of a top quality hotel. I would definately highly recomend this hotel for any function as the function room is of a very high standard and the staff very friendly and always on hand to meet your every needs. Also loads of great opportunities for great photographs inside and out of the hotel, there is an amazing chandelier on a winding staircase in the reception that we had some lovely photos taken on, and the grounds outside make for lovely photos especially when the flowers are out in bloom. Excellent all round hotel.

Stayed here for the night before flying from Birmingham. Excellent meal (bit price - but hey we were on holiday). Rooms clean and comfortable - included taxi arrived promptly. Would certainly use this hotel again.

Select a better choice of room and tick all the boxes . Big TV , tea / coffee , trouser press , quality Iron and board , nice biscuits , water etc .

Well presented hotel with pleasant not forny staff . Much better accommodation for NEC visitors than the way over priced on site hotels or poor quality offerings of Solihull .

As we were going to a do at the National Motorcycle Museum I went on their website which had a link to this hotel. I was very pleasantly surprised by the value of the hotel and if you booked and paid in full in advance it was 10% cheaper. I normally come on Tripadvisor to check hotels before I book them, but this time I didn't bother as it was just going to be for a very short overnight stay. We were very happy when we arrived, the staff at reception were very efficient and the room was ideal.
There was an issue with the bill in the morning when we checked out, but Julie, the manager, was extremely courteous and helpful and resolved the problem very quickly without making me feel like I was in the wrong (which has happened at times in other establishments).
Overall, a very good stay, breakfast was good with plenty to choose from, the room was comfortable and we're planning on going back in October with friends for their Halloween Murder Mystery event.

We booked a one night stay as a 'get away from it all' in the run up to our wedding. It was lovely and a welcome break. The hotel is attractive and the food good. We had breakfast and dinner. The bar prices weren't awful and wine was quite reasonable. Overall, a good experience we would return.

We stayed here for one night after flying into Birmingham airport. Arrived at the hotel at 10.30pm checked in easily enough but then had to carry our 2 big suitcases up the stairs with no offer of help from anyone, this place really needs a lift! Got to our room which was nice enough, no tea and coffee making facilities though. Rang through to get room service only to be told that the chef had turned everything off and gone home so we could only have sandwiches even though it clearly states that the menu is available until 11pm. When our food turned up they had got the order wrong but we were too tired to care so just ate them anyway. We then got woken up at 8.30 by someone cutting the grass right outside our window, after travelling for hours the day before this really annoyed us both! We were on our way home from our honeymoon so both in really good spirits having just had an amazing time away and this whole experience spoilt it a bit. I booked through late rooms so it was only cheap but even so I wouldn't use this hotel again and I definitely wouldn't pay the full price! We couldn't wait to leave.

Stayed here for 1 night with my mum to watch MeatLoaf in the LG.
Perfect location to get to the arena and easy to find.
The rooms weren't too easy to get too after being told to go up stairs and through the double doors. Also not offered luggage assistance.
The main bar was nice and quiet with some nice dishes to try.
