Lisa made us both feel very at home with advice and guidance on local trips/excursions. The flat was very well equipped and in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed the warm and welcoming nature of Lisa and the flat.
We stayed here for one night in April as a family with two young children. It was all a bit last minute but the owners Lisa and Andy were really flexible and able to accommodate us with late check-in/check-out etc. The flat itself is next to the main house and a studio over what used to be the garage. Plenty of parking on private land outside and bigger than expected with lots of room for the double and single beds and travel cot we were using.
The flat was very clean and beautifully done up, with a kitchen/dining area with table top oven and microwave and a further table and chair set on a little balcony, with stunning views over fields. Loo/shower was downstairs. Linen and towels were provided as well as a lovely basket of home made goodies for breakfast.
Couldn't fault it.
A delightful place to stay and run by really friendly and caring people. We'll be back soon I assure you!

We needed a place to stay for a night whilst visiting family in Worthing. We arrived after spending 4hours driving down from Oxfordshire and after being stuck on the m25 in awful traffic, could not wait to get in and relax for a while! We were greeted by Lisa upon arrival who was friendly and welcoming. As soon as we walked up the stairs I knew we had booked the right place! Absolutely beautiful and charming studio flat, lovely decor and comfortable space. Lisa had prepared for us a fresh bread and little pots of jam, there was also a basket of hotel like smelly goodies which was completely unexpected, the beds were comfortable including the fold out bed my little son slept in, we all got a fantastic night sleep, the views across the fields are a delight and lovely to enjoy with a coffee in the morning! I wish we could have stayed for a week! Can't wait to come back soon :-)
This was my second trip to the FOG and it was as great as the first. Lisa is a great host and the extra touches of fresh bread, milk and butter made it even better. Eating breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sheep and horses was wonderful! Thank you for another fantastic trip.
