Having sampled most country hotels in the south this gets a big thumbs up. It maybe quite expensive but with it, set in acres of its own land, the spa is amazing, although one too many kids on our visit. Horse riding is a must with a huge stable onsite. Very relaxing overall, would recommend

My girlfriend and i love weekend trips to spa hotels. This is the first one that made us feel like we were at our own country home with our own staff. The vibe is wonderfully intimate and everyone is wishing to please. It's very hard finding a balance between overly attentative - which invades privacy and slow service - which annoys the hell out of everyone. Lucknam Park managed to hit the sweet spot consistently over our four day Easter weekend stay. The food, activities, amenities and grounds ensure every different type of person can get what they want. If you don't have an amazing time, the problem lies with your own initiative not the venue!

Definitively going back :)

For the third year running my Mother's Day treat was a Saddle & Spa day with my daughter on 24 April 2014. What a fabulous day again, great welcome, friendly and professional staff, great horses (Charlie and Colin) and all finished off with a wonderful facial. Lucknam Park is a very special place with a fabulous atmosphere from start to finish. Thankyou to everyone who made this latest visit amazing, we shall be back again soon.

The hotel and estate are luxurious, and the spa is truly wonderful. The cuisine is marvellous with a corresponding wine cellar.

The courtyard rooms are furnished in a very traditional style albeit a little cramped.

The Brasserie offers more relaxed dining than the main restaurant.

Afternoon tea is very English.

The Hotel is very convenient for visiting Bath and the surrounding area.

Gorgeous, beautiful hotel. Lovely surroundings.

Excellent and attentive service. Very welcoming. Went out of their way to make it a special stay.

Loved sitting by the fireplace with a pot of tea and a book on a rainy Sunday. Loved even more walking around the grounds.

Delicious food at the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Lucknam Park is perfectly located if you're staying in Bath....just on the outskirts and set in beautiful grounds. It's even got a helipad on site.
We stayed for a weekend break and really relaxed here.
Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy.
We relaxed in the spa, the pool is great with plenty of sun loungers around it. I had a massage which was ok.
We had dinner in the restaurant and although the service is amazing and the food is great, we found the atmosphere somewhat strange. It was too quiet with everyone carefully holding their cutlery so as not to make a noise against the plates.....a bit weird. Bit we enjoyed it.
Will definitely be back here for another weekend treat and would highly recommend it.

The moment you drive up to the property, you are overwhelmed with its beauty. Each room in this beautiful country mansion is a feast for the eyes. Just when you think it can't get any better, you enter a spa that is unbelievable. The pool is surrounding by an inside/outside hot tub. The grounds are filled with the most incredible plants and flowers found in the English Countryside. The Equestrian Center was like stepping back in time. We had drinks in front of the massive fireplace in the library, and dined in their excellent restaurant. Our room was The Juliet Suite and had a small balcony that overlooked a lavender field. We used the wood burning fireplace every night, and enjoyed a suite that was second to none. Downtown Abbey has nothing on this jewel.

Room Tip: As for the Juliet Suite. The best in the entire mansion. This suite will exceed your expectations.
