We stayed here as a centre to visit the southern Cotwalds and Bath. The place was really nice and the beds comfortable and a good breakfast. It lived up to expectations set by other reviewers. The house is one of those old manor type with lots of charater and the rooms are nicely furnished in an appropriate style. They had wifi and lots of information on what to see. The only downside with Colerne is that there is not much choice for dinner if you find navigating the very narrrow roads at night a bit intimidating, however we were able to walk to the local pub and the meals there were more than adequate. Definately recommend a sat nav if you are visiting this part of the country

A bit disappointed when I tried to book a hotel in Bath or a family break this weekend. Nothing available so we 'made do' with Trimnells. Really glad we did. Lovely family room with bags of space. Spotlessly clean with tea, coffee facilities. Really big bathroom and a huge shower. When we arrived we were told that the heating had broken, but the owners made sure that our room was cosy with two heaters. Very helpful owners who seem to enjoy having people staying which made a huge difference. Sunning cooked breakfast with plenty of veggie options, fresh fruit and cereals etc. my two sons aged 14 and 9 were kept amused with table tennis and air hockey. When we asked or some advice about directions to and where to park our car in Bath, the owner was rely helpful and gave us some good device and postcodes for our sat nav. This was only a one night break and I was sorry that we could not stay another night. Oh and when I came to pay the bill I had a very generous discount because the boiler was broken. This really did not make a difference as the rooms were warmed up for us. Will definitely come back again!

Room Tip: We had room number three which was huge with an en suite shower room a king size bed and two comfy singles, not " put you ups"

The room was a great size, and absolutely everything had been thought of. We travelled as a couple, but it was obvious that the owners have gone out of their way to make this an accessible property for children or people with impaired mobility. Breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend the hash browns!

What a great place ! Cant reccomend enough. Spotlessly clean. The room we stayed in was big and the bed very comfortable. Good shower and owners done a great job in providing loads of information in a welcome pack. Small touches didnt go unnoticed ie jug of water in room , biscuits on tea tray , shower gel and shampoos in bathroom.
You advise what you want for breakfast so ensures you have exactly what you would like. Have to say breaksfast was lovely.
We also went to the local spa and had a relaxing and fantastic time.

Would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Really enjoyed it here and felt a valued customer.

To stay at Trimnells is to stay in absolute luxury. This B & B is absolutely gorgeous, set in the lovely district of Colerne. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure your stay is 5 star. Our room was beautifully decorated with a large en-suite with all the complementary bathroom luxouries. Breakfast covered everything you could imagine. Trimnells is only a short drive to the beautiful Bath & Castle Combe. As we enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay an extra night.
