We stayed for two nights in August with Living Social deal, on arrival were warmly greeted and shown around the hotels main areas and then taken to our room - very personal, made to feel most welcome. This theme continued throughout our stay, ALL staff were very professional, pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble!
We dined in both nights one in the more cosy Cricketers and then the more formal main restaurant excellent food and service.
There were lots of places to sit and chat, would love to come back in colder weather and see fires lit, very cosy.
Our room over the green in cottages (no 18) was very comfy, lovely big bed and modern bathroom and we could park right next to it!
Have stayed in many hotels but this little gem is very special.More
