My family visited this restaurant as part of an excursion from a cruise. The cruise food was already of a high standard but the lunch here was outstanding. We were treated to a buffet of various foods, and I tried a little of all of them. Everything seemed to have a powerful flavour. I particularly enjoyed a sort of small chop of reindeer meat and also the bonbon, a chocolate explosion. Of course the various strawberry deserts were delicious. I had not realised that strawberries could be grown in Norway let alone that they were a speciality of the region.
There was no stinting on quantity, as soon as a dish was emptied (sometimes before) a full one was put in its place. The service as prompt and efficient.
Externally this establishment is modest in appearance but the food served here is worth a visit to Norway on its own.
