One step up from a back-packers however it is right on the beach. Good wifi, great beach bar and many eating choices nearby. Very basic room with a kettle, fridge, towels and a couple of bars of soap otherwise bring or buy your own stuff, still great value considering the price.

Lived in a room with a nice garden view, 30 seconds from the beach. Got a small pool aswell and chairs outside the room where you can sit and chill. At the beach sun beds during the day, bean bags during afternoon /night
Supposed to get a beach view but all we got was a view of the hotel bar. Noisy way past 2am so forget words like "relaxing"or "peaceful". No forget sleep altogether! Rude bar staff who blend ice cubes at 2am..yes you can hear it from inside your room at might. Never have i ever had to pay for beach chairs at a hotel i was staying in but guess what, Mali mali does not value its guests and makes you pay for those as well. Besides the constant noise and foot traffic, you get stinky towels. One was even stained that i had to go all the way to reception to have it changed and the receptionist SNIFFED it before handing it to me. They provide you one miserable mug, no free coffee or tea sachets and although we requested for another mug, we never received it. And the pool? Dont even bother with it. At best its a kiddie pool and looks dirty and poorly maintained. Hot water heater goes on and off mid shower. Toiletries not provided. No wardrobe or space to hang clothes. No safe box, wifi is abysmal. NOT WORTH the 280 a night we paid AT ALL!
Very noisy at night. Some of my clothes stolen wen i put to dry outside room. Bathrum stuck with other people hair cause water to not flow into hole. Ask hotel to clean but they only arrange bed and did not care.
Very pricey for what you get : cramped old room, hole in the ceiling, broken shower, mildly warm water on lucky days and dirty smelly towels. It gets worse, we got 1 dirty mug, asked for 2 but never came. Neither did we have any of the advertised complimentary coffee or tea sachets. Owner has beach chairs on the beach and after paying for a crappy room you need to rent the beach chairs from the hotel at an extra cost. Youre also not allowed to sit at the bar unless you purchase drinks AND food. We only wanted food and were told to pi$$ off. Bar blasts loud music till 2am so forget about getting any sleep.
Forget about this place unless you enjoy being ripped off and treated like crap.
Clean room, bed and bathroom, air-con, tv - local channels only. So close to beach, music from bar on beach but what the heck. Early morning coffee just two doors away and they open early. Stay there again, great location. Wi-fi slow.
