“Very Nice Temple”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Kalpathy Temple is located in Palakkad, Kerala and is famous for Chariot Fest ( Car Festival). This Ancient temple is also known as Half of Kashi. This temple and surrounding Tamil Brahmin's villages ( Agraharam) had been constructed during 14 th Century as per the history. This amazing village has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site recently. Foreign and domestic tourists are visiting this Heritage site after that.

Visit to Kalpathy Temple and Villages are really worth

“Very good”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

Its a very old temple close to Kalpathy river. There are lot of other temples very close to this and the "Kalpathy Theru" (Radhotsav) is very famous. This temple is surrounded by the Brahmin colony where the houses are attached to each other and considered as one of the biggest of this kind

“A very Nice Temple”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

Just visited Kalpathy this week to attend marriage function of my school buddy.I was travelling to Kalpathy for the first time and the township attracted me. It was very close to Palghat town but still had a completely different look and feel. The temple is very prominent and attractive(i did not go into the temple. The comment is based on external appearance)
