We went to Vox Maris No.1 Club in August 2012. During our stay, we took notice of the following: The complex has a huge garden built around every housing structure, and the plants and flowers are vibrant, fresh and colorful, as they are taken care of daily. Rooms are comfortable spaced, with generous bathrooms and a balcony where you can dry your swimming apparel. The room service was impeccable, but the minibar in the room was empty, and there was nothing complimentary from the hotel in the room. The continental breakfast is quite ok, although it never suffers any changes. The dining area also served as a restaurant for dinner, with tasty and varied dishes in the menu. There is a tennis court, as well as Ping-Pong & billiards/pool tables that you can access for free at any time of the day, which suited us very well.
The swimming pools in the complex are big and always spotlessly clean, and are great fun for the families with small children. I believe there is a LAN cable in the room, although we haven’t tried it. However, there is great 3G satellite internet connection in the room, unlike many parts of the station. Biggest plus: every member of the staff was very nice and helpful, with a great positive attitude. Also, big secure private parking, free of charge.
Drawbacks: even though a minute away from the beach, which is rocky. Can get...We went to Vox Maris No.1 Club in August 2012. Drawbacks: even though a minute away from the beach, which is rocky. Can get wavy once sut sets; bit unclean. Also, we got two twin mattresses together for the bed, even though we requested a queen/king size. Make sure you clearly specify this at the time of reservation.
Part of the resort is under construction, but any discomfort for the guests was minimized by the fact that the workers were performing their tasks during the day.
Overall, I warmly recommend the resort, and it makes for a great escape, especially for families with small children.More
