“A Romantic and Peaceful Holiday”
Reviewed November 12, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Me and my partner visited Na Indra in August and it was just what we wanted from a holiday. Sue was most welcoming and so helpful to us throughout the trip whilst giving us our privacy, she was truly a perfect host. The villa itself was small but very comfortable with all the main fascilities provided for a truly relaxing holiday. The terrace was beautiful and acted as a living room for us and we spent most of our evenings star gazing with a glass of the local winel. The garden and the pool where kept in stunning condition through our stay and we especially loved the view from the hot tub. The villa was situated close to the local bakery where we would buy fresh bread each day. In all we had a perfect trip and we couldn't fault our stay in this beautiful villa.

“The perfect place to stay and explore a beautiful region”
Reviewed October 12, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We were looking for a restful end-of-season break and found everything we needed at Na Indra. A charming gite just a short drive from Carcassonne and surrounded by interesting villages and lovely countryside. Sue provided very helpful local information and was happy to book tables at nearby restaurants. Altogether a memorable and excellent stay with comfortable accommodation and delightful views from the terrace.

“Can't wait to return one day”
Reviewed October 1, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

I would highly recommend Les Bergeries Du Cabardes, we had a wonderful stay in apartment ‘Na Indra’. We stayed for 4 nights in August and everything was perfect and we have pretty high standards :)

We found Na Indra to be immaculately clean, cosy and romantic. We enjoyed time sitting relaxing on the private balcony with the sunbeds and chairs provided whilst admiring a lovely view over the swimming pool and of the distant mountains. We were able to pick some of Sue’s home grown grapes (she grows all sorts of fabulous garden herbs and fruits) and they were delicious. The local bakery in Moussoulens did very yummie pain au chocolate and croissants. We enjoyed the peace and quiet we experienced at Les Bergeries Du Cabardes but although quiet the village still had an atmosphere with the local church bells chiming in the distance.

We love exploring so we packed a lot in to our 3 days and we feel there would have been much more to see had we have stayed longer. We visited Carcasonne (loved the old town), Peyrepertuse Castle and Collioure (a long drive but beautiful seaside town) amongst visiting a few other villages along the way.

Sue is very helpful but discreet and is on hand to give recommendations of various restaurants to suit all budgets and places to visit. Sue also provides a very indepth welcome pack which gave us all the information we needed which we found really useful as in a lot of places we have stayed there hasn’t been much information.

We really felt like we had escaped from it all and we would like to go back one day :) Thank you Sue.

“Lovely Accommodation with Great Views”
Reviewed July 20, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We spend 10 days in Na Indra in June. We were driving from home and found Sue's instructions to the accommodation very easy to follow. Our first impressions were absolute amazement that our "holiday home" could be so lovely, it felt like we had walked in to Sue's own home, everything was fresh looking, clean and tidy. Nothing had been left out from providing the essentials you often forget like salt and pepper to the milk, juice and wine in the fridge. There was also a welcome/instructions pack in the room which gave not only opening times of the bakery and village shop but also how to work the various appliances in the accommodation.

The roof terrace is a real bonus for this accommodation as not only does it have sun all day (in June anyway) it is a lovely place to sit in peace to sunbathe and eat meals whilst enjoying great views of the Pyrenees still covered in snow (while we were sitting in 30+ degree heat), the lovely garden and swimming pool.

Sue is a lovely host who although around most of the time is very discrete but is willing to give help on advice to ensure you are able to make the most of your stay. From recommendations of restaurants to how best to cope with the heat.

We took our own bikes and planned to cycle a lot of the Canal du Midi, unfortunately the weather was a little too hot and we only managed one day. We will be going back again to do more. There are bikes available on site if you fancy cycling but unlike us are not driving.

The accommodation is in a lovely quiet village but within easy access of both the motorway and main roads to Carcassonne, Toulouse and beyond.

i would definitely recommend this accommodation and either of the other two which all form Bergeries du Cabardes to family and friends.

“Relaxing and quiet location”

We spent a week at Na Indra and really enjoyed our stay there. The studio is very compact but also very cleverly designed in terms of designated areas. The owner, Sue has thought of everything that one might need and included sufficient items and accessories to enable you to make yourself at home and comfortable. The balcony area outside of the studio is great for evening meals, relaxing and discreet sunbathing.

Sue clearly works very hard in the garden which was a pleasure to visit for the pool and also the hot tub which we used on a few occasions!

We found Moussoulens a great base from which to explore the local area, we visited Carcassonne, went for long exploratory drives, visited Lastours and its 4 castles and booked a day wine tour through http://vinenvacances.com/ which we would also highly recommend (you need to book in advance, but they collected us from and dropped us back to Na Indra).

We were looking for a cosy, self catering, romantic get away and Na Indra was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend it. Beware if you are very tall though as being a loft studio, the ceilings are very low in places.

“An idyllic French hideaway in close proximity to Carcassonne”
Reviewed February 15, 2015 for a stay in August 2014

We spent a fabulous week at Les Bergeries du Cabardes exploring the northern fringes of Cathar Languedoc. Sue was a discrete, welcoming host with excellent local knowledge which we put to good use .Our gite was everything we expected, French in character and very well appointed -it was especially nice to sit on the terrace which overlooked the beautiful garden and pool . With Carcassonne a short drive away it was possible to visit before the crowds descended .Nearby villages such as Montolieu (famous for it's bookshops) and the canal du midi are just some of the numerous attractions close at hand! We hope to return in the not too distant future! ,

“Delightful”
Reviewed February 13, 2015 for a stay in August 2014

We loved Na Indra, it was romantic and we felt quite private above the other residents! Sue was a relaxed host, who recommended special places to visit which we really appreciated. Despite the low ceilings for a tall husband our beautiful French attic room had everything we needed, including welcome treats from Sue
